"Do Good" is Delta Gamma's open motto.

This is awfully snarky. Just because you don't know what it means doesn't mean that it doesn't have meaning.

You really aren't getting off to a very good start on GC, are you?

A friend is the DG House Director at Butler. She posted a video of her view on facebook. Talk about excited girls.

That is a grammatically correct sentence/headline, considering the use of "to do" as an auxiliary verb. Substitute another verb for "good" (e.g. "dance").

Didn't know... my apologies.

I always assumed "good" was being used in the noun form here.

pinksequins 01-14-2015 05:35 PM

I did too.

AZTheta 01-14-2015 07:05 PM

OH hell. Verb. Noun. Whatever.

At least I'm not throwing what I know.

pinksequins 01-14-2015 07:33 PM

The part of speech matters only because it was dismissed by a new poster as being grammatically incorrect. We have a full plate with the IU connection. : )

Love it! I wish my chapter could get in touch with Ellen ;)

AZTheta 01-14-2015 07:48 PM

^^^ I know (to pinksequins and LABlondeGPhi). I knew/know better. I was mocking myself, and I have no problem admitting when I screw up.

I seem to be on quite a roll lately. Is it Lent yet?

pinksequins 01-14-2015 07:51 PM

No worries! : )

Back to the DGs having a blast!

Darling, thrilled over the top girls. Something they will always remember and tell their children and grandchildren about.

The DG chapter gave their House Director the trip to Hawaii!
So sweet!

Ha - well, if it helps, I was totally on board with the sentiment of your post ;)

10 sisters of Butler University's chapter of Delta Gamma on Ellen, the sequel:

They donated a lot of the prizes from Ellen's 12 Days promotion to various charities in their area...that's very honorable and classy.

I happened to get home early enough to watch. The ladies did a great job and looked like excellent ambassadors for Delta Gamma.
