Ever seen a movie trailer that was really interesting, but when you saw the actual movie, it was horrible?

Transformers 4 hits the nail on the head.

To be fair, any movie that reaches a 3rd sequel is never really that great. Your expectations were too high :)

I actually thought they were all pretty bad, including the first one. The last one just had the best trailer.

Me and my friends waited for 6 months...periodically looking at previews counting down the days until it came out. When we got to the movie we were so disappointed. I still haven't forgiven M. Night Shyamalan.

Me too. The whole thing kind of pissed me off. The premise in the trailers seemed very different.

True, i keep thinking it's gonna some comic book style movie. I still get angry thinking about the ending.

Here's a movie that the trailer lied: Red Eye

When I saw the trailer, I'm thinking it's some horror flick and he's like an agent of Satan. Especially with the red eye in the trailer. The movie was not even close.

I agree about "Lucy". Now that's what I called being tricked by a trailer.

"Lucy" sucked.

Aw, I thought T4 was actually the really good one of the series. *shrug*

Anyway, mine would be Maleficent. Talk about a disappointment.

Oh I really still want to see Maleficent. Waiting to watch it with my sister as I made her watch Sleeping Beauty hundreds of times when we were kids. I guess it doesn't really matter if it's amazing for us, it's a sentimental sisters-all-grown-up the thing :)

I liked T4 as well, it was the third one that looked great from the trailers but was awful IMHO.

I was really disappointed with Watchmen, the trailer was amazing but the movie... not so much.

There was too much going on in all of them. I couldn't keep up. If they slow down the special effects, that would probably make it about 30% better.

When I saw the trailer, I was hyped because I expected Unicron to show up since we kinda see a planet. I was also pissed on how they treated the dinobots.

Trailer for Minions looks pretty good. Hope I don't have to write about it here. :)
