What's with TAR and Survivor swapping contestants? In addition to the two above, the annoying twinnies from TAR are on this season's Survivor. C'mon, CBS, stop recycling your reality TV people. (On that note, it Big Brother CBS? Hadn't TAR's Rachel been on that show? I don't watch it...)

I hate crossovers, too.

And not a good sign that TAR is now on Fridays ... but I'm still gonna watch.

But TAR is still winning the Emmy every year so I don't think it will be canceled until they don't win anymore. I'm glad it is on Fridays now. I hated trying to guess what time it was really going to start after football on Sunday. Even to DVR it was messed up. I had to DVR the show after it also.

I know, wrong thread, but I'm happy with Survivor so far this season. Can't wait for TAR :)

Maya is a member of Delta Sigma Theta! She is my friend's line sister so we will be watching. :)

ETA: My mistake! She is NOT a member. She is my friend's good friend who she loves LIKE a SISTER. I misheard "line sister" and just got clarification. Sorry y'all!

Oh, how adorable are Tim and Te Jay? They're my favorites so far.

Oops, guess I should have RACED home tonight to watch TAR, I'm probably missing it right now! Darn CBS for changing the telecast night.

Just watched last night's episode. I just love Scotland, so happy the Race went there.
Tim & Te Jay, Amy & Maya and Shelley & Nici are my favorites so far.

Much to my surprise, I'm enjoying the season a lot!!!

Although the husband dentist is a little .... scary looking? I know that's mean. But he is smart! I never knew dentists had to take the MCAT.

(I knew how to use that compass from orienteering classes as a kid ... but I was impressed by how he figured it out.)

LOVED this episode, I've been to Marrakech and visited all the locations of the tasks, cool to see them. The city is tiny but such a maze, very hard to navigate.

The cyclists are becoming strong favorites.
Team Nashville though, so negative!

A little? Between the eyes, the unnaturally white teeth (yes, I know they're dentists) and the over-tanning, I think he looks deranged. Add to that his hyper-competativeness and hyper-confidence, and you have quite a package. I do not enjoy watching him. At all.

I wasn't sorry to see Keith and Whitney go, but Shelley & Nici were stupid to let their personal feelings about Team Nashville influence their use of the U-Turn. The only team that should have been U-Turned was the dentists, with the hope of forcing them to use their Save and getting it out of the game. Given how disappointed all the other teams were at the start of the leg to know that the dentists still had the Save thanks to the non-elimination leg, I was dumbfounded no one tried to get agreement on a plan that the dentists, and only the dentists, would be U-Turned.

I totally agree with every word here. I couldn't believe they U-Turned anybody but the dentists.

So, here's a stupid question: when does the Save expire? Do the dentists have to use it in the next leg?

Thrilled that Shelley and Nici are gone. Tired of the arguing and of the poor decisions. I agree with AGDee and MysticCat -- not U turning the dentist was stupid as all get out.

(That being said, I kind of like the dentists -- I knew how to use that compass in the first leg but was impressed by how Jim figured it out.)

I'm on the Bethany and Adam bandwagon big time.

Man- Bethany BLEW ME AWAY this past week doing the puzzle with her feet!!!! Just in absolute awe of her!

Was so not sad to see Shelley and Nici gone-- they were really beginning to annoy me and yes they were stupid not to U-turn the creepy dentist… seriously I would RUN if I walked for an appointment and my dentist looked like that!!! ha ha ha….

If I remember correctly from the first episode, it expires something like 3 legs from the end? i.e.: They can't use it in the last 2 legs? Kinda like the rules for the Fast Forward, I believe.


Agree with being fine with Shelley and Nici being gone...not a fan of theirs. Have LOVED Bethany and Adam since before the show started - she blew me away also with the whole foot-and-puzzle thing too!

We were AGHAST when they did not U-Turn the Dentists! Stupid move - you need to flush out that Save (or a Fast Forward or whatever) early in the game so that the playing field is level! CBS did a great job of editing to make you think that was going to happen & then we gasped when they didn't!!

Sad to see this team leave...

And Mrs. Wrestler is showing her true annoying colors. Whine much?

I am bummed to see Tim and Te Jay go. They were great!

I wouldn't have liked either choice for the Detour. But how gorgeous is the Blue Grotto?

Dying to go to Malta now after that episode… was bummed about Tim and Te Jay-- really wish it had been the "wrestlers"--- am beginning to really despise them…. she is just mean and nasty and he seems just really stupid….

The wrestlers are so irritating. So, so, so irritating.

Yeah, I'm really hating the wrestlers now. The teams are all about ganging up on the cyclists, but they should be ganging up on the wrestlers.

This tidbit actually pertains to season 26 but I know it will be of interest to some. Per a few sources, one of the teams next season will be NKOTB member Jonathan Knight and his longtime partner!

They wooooon! Best possible outcome. Loved them from the start and they raced with wit and grace.

Woooooooo! My friend (the one who knows Maya) was invited to LA for the finale watch party and to meet the winners but I don't think she knew Maya WAS the winner! What a neat surprise! The FB posts I'm seeing are amazing. She is so proud of her friend and I'm proud of her, too! :D

I'm so happy Amy and Maya won. I was rooting for them! And I cheered out loud when Brooke and Robbie were eliminated, especially after Brooke made those snide comments to Amy and Maya in the airport.

I was really excited that Amy and Maya won! My daughter was in the room when I was watching the finale on the DVR and I was telling her about all the teams. I told her I hoped the soulsurfers won but then when Amy and Maya won I was so stinkin' excited! She said "I thought you wanted the surfers" and I said "That's because I didn't think these two had a chance! I love them!" I really didn't think they had a chance. So glad they did it :)

And I'm going to add- I really liked the winner of Survivor this time too.
