I'm running out of thread themes. Things are about to get really creative.

PNM just completed recruitment at Alabama and is celebrating with her new sisters!

I like this idea. I can't believe I forgot Skinny Pete! He can be one, and Tuco can be the other!

Round One
 

Round One was a whirlwind for PNM; while she didn't dislike any of the chapters, a few of them stood out more than the rest.

PNM's six favorites after round one were (in no particular order):
Badger
Gus
Walter
Hank
Flynn
Mike

She was eager to get to know each chapter more, but she went into round two hoping to see those six again more than any of the others.

Whoop! Another year, another story from dgdramadawg! :D

I was hoping she'd have a chance to be a Baby Holly.

Better call Saul! :p

I don't want to know what happens to PNMs who are cut .......

Round Two
 

PNM got 9 invites for round two! She was really excited to see all but one of her favorites on her schedule.

Of course, getting cut by Gus stung a little, but PNM was really excited to get to know all nine houses better (especially Badger, Walter, Hank, Flynn, and Mike).

I didn't know y'all were so entertaining, or else I would have been signing in for more than just reading when recruitment is actually going on. And then, one year, I felt like I completely insulted someone who was basically suggesting that a PNM needed to bring all receipts for her recruitment outfits or else face being dropped.

I'm already lost with the names, but please push on and I'll doddle along behind. I eventually figured out the Pink Sequin Panty Hose coding.

Round Three
 

PNM was invited back to 5 houses for round three. They were

Badger
Walter
Jesse
Todd
Marie

Of course, it stung to no longer have Hank, Flynn, or Mike, but PNM was really happy to see Badger and Walter still on her list. She was also eager to get to know the others a little better.

During the round, PNM continued to love Walter, but something unexpected happened: she actually started to like Jesse, Todd, and Marie a lot more (even more than Badger!). It was almost as though being cut by four of her six original favorites had allowed her the ability to really get to know these chapters. She was excited to get her pref schedule.

As usual, in your pithy style, you blast out another pearl of wisdom. Go, dgdramadawg, go!

She went into prefs thinking Walter was pretty much a done deal, but left Marie's pref feeling blown away by their close sisterhood! In the end, she felt that she would be thrilled to join either Walter OR Marie. She liked Todd a lot, too, but she was definitely hoping to open a bid from Walter or Marie on bid day!

Best lesson from this thread: PNM didn't really fall in love with Marie until after some of her early favorites let her go, but those cuts gave her the ability to see how wonderful Marie was.

Of course, I somewhat wish she was a new member of Walter. ;) But I'm so happy that she found the perfect home for her, and that perfect home is Marie/Alpha Delta Pi!

I'm curious as to whether she ranked Walter or Marie first... not that it really matters, as you indicated she'd have been happy in either sorority.
