XOs ... check this out
I found this on eBay, and I vote this as the stupidest (is that a word?) description for Greek items sold on eBay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1061761213 On top of everything else sold on eBay ... |
That guy doesn't understand greek letters. I can see why he thinks its a fraternity because the paddle has a guys name one it.
|
My mom's name is Lynn. She is not a Chi O though.
|
Wow that guy is dumb. And the unused comment??! Uh, once you carve something on it, it's used, braniac.

I'll second Heidi's question...why is a Chi O paddle addressed to a guy?
|
I should third that question ...
Hey, do you guys have a big brother/dad program? We used to have lil sis program, and we made them paddles, so maybe that's what happened. Any XOs to clarify this thing? |

volgirl - I thought of that too - but I hate to think that there is someone that dumb out there, using oxygen that llamas or other furry animals could use! (Yes I have had a few, that is the cause of the Earpian flavour of my posts this evening)

Re: XOs ... check this out
Imagine that, there are no bids!!
|
Owwww....
Owwww .... nobody wants a Xeta Omega paddle?
|
O.k- in college- I would address my sorority mom's boyfriend as "dad" - you know- mom & dad - and he'd always refer to me as his daughter - all kidding like- So- maybe this girl was very close to her boyfriend's fraternity "son" and bought him a paddle from "mom". Does that make sence?
I know at Univ. of ILL- the big brother/little sister programs were huge - (my friend married her big brothended up marrying her big brother) maybe the Chi O's did a little son program? Last but not least - maybe it justs a real mom who bought her real son a paddle. Why- I don't know... kinda strange in my book but to each his own! and if that one is true-kinda sick of the son to sell his mom's paddle on ebay! |

LMAO!!!
What a joke - that's all I have to say about that! Hootie |
Another funny paddle on ebay... if I only knew the "half wit" sorority was still around... I would of tried to pledge them!

Sorry, but I think "Fran" and her "Half Wits" paddle is pretty sad! lol Who would want that paddle? lol

Attention all XO's
XO's,
Have any of you heard of the website about you girls? If you have you know what I'm talking about. I won't say it unless you ask me to because I don't want to spread it or anything, but can you do something about it though? I think thats really wrong how she made a website about it. I was really just wondering if you knew about it? Some girl from U of oregon told our house and it got talked about to a couple guys in our house, but we seriously told everyone to stop talking about it because we wouldn't want people spreading that about us. |
Thank you so much to you and your house for the concern and respect you showed to us by ending the discussion. We are fully aware of what you are talking about. The good that came out of it were fellow greeks like yourself supporting us and truly caring. Again, thank you! :)
Sue |
So you can't do anything about it? We're all in danger of this? That sucks. There no law or anything that can stop her. Defamation of character, or maybe perhaps blackmail? Just a suggestion. Why'd she turn on you guys? Thats so stupid.
|
Libel I think. Because its written. Any law type peoples wanna clarify?
|
I still can't imagine why a Chi-O would give a guy--either son, father, brother, etc. a paddle. What's he suppose to do, hang it on his wall? If it was to a guy who was special to the chapter, then it would be from the chapter, not from Lynn. Confused!!!
|
Maybe her son became special to a chapter. Either way, who ever it belongs to though would want it back. If my mom made me a paddle i would want to keep it.
|
If I was a guy and my mom made me a sorority paddle I would definitely think it's weird.
