does anyone watch? i love the show, but was watching mariah carey's episode and she made me sick! did anyone else see it? she kept changing clothes, she even put on lingerie then stripped out of it (covered by a towel ;) ) and got in the bath tub! i will say that her place is nice, but she was driving me up the wall with her props! she goes into the laundry rooms and pulls her dog out of the dryer? :rolleyes: she's off the wall...

but, a lot of other people's homes are tight! i loved missy elliot's house. her dining room, her bedroom and her mother's room was the bomb!

Missy's house was tight... I liked how she just had a random swimming pool in the entryway.

I had never watched Cribs before but I saw it the other night with Mariah. I was couldn't BELIEVE it when she started stripping out of her lingerie under the towel :eek: She came across kind of fake to me, but I think her place was nice. Did you see the chair in her kitchen, though? Hello.....LAZY :rolleyes:

Me too! I especially loved her kitchen table. The one where each seat had a separate round table for their food.

Mariah's house was very nice, but the whole half hour of her changing clothes and walking aroung half nekked was a little too much for me to take. She looked absolutely ridiculous on that stairmaster with a mini dress and stillettos on. But, her bathroom was sooo nice!

I am an avid viewer of Cribs and I watched the one with Mariah and I can truly say that she has issues. She seemed like she was on some sedative medication because, if you noticed her tone of voice never changed. She seemed to mellow and different, (I didn't want to say WEIRD). We must give her props for even conducting that interview.

The best Cribs shows ever were Penny Hardaways house (is beyond like dat), and Jayson Williams house.

That episode was the first one I saw too- I thought the wet towel in the tub was strange and the stylist putting on her shoes for her ... what a lowly job but she probably makes 100,000 for doing it!

She is honest though- how she has the mermaid room for people who aren't good enough to access her living room and upstairs (where her Marilyn piano might get broken by someone). Now everyone knows where they stand in her life-

D level- Mermaid room
C level- The penthouse bar
B level -The living room
A level - Her Master Bedroom

I have to agree with you on Penny and Jayson's houses. Jayson had so much land that it was crazy. they both really had it going on.

I think I'm just a hopeless New Englander because I found Missy Elliott's house tacky as I don't know what - it just screamed "I JUST GOT A PIECE OF MONEY YESTERDAY." Master P's was in that category too. I like Mariah's living room, but the Morrocan themed room was tacky - I also liked the "M" laid into the marble tile in Mariah's dressing room floor. She definitely seemed like she had just gotten a shot of some sort of "head medicine"

I love watching Cribs. Mariah's house was nice but she was getting on my nerves, too. It was like she was putting on some type of stripper audition or something. She just seemed so self-involved with all of the wardrobe changes. I also couldn't understand how she just couldn't even show the Marily Monroe piano on TV but she could get in the tub in front of everyone. Also, did anyone else notice how shabby her guest bedroom was? She has such a nice house and her guests have to sleep on twin beds with flowered sheets? :confused:

I think the houses that I liked the best were Missy's, Penny Hardaway's, Big Boi's (Outkast), and Destiny's Child. Those are the only one's I can think of now.

Have you all ever seen Redman's? :eek: He lives in a sorry townhouse that is so junky! I couldn't believe that he was so messy. I don't care where you live or how much you have, but keep your space clean! ;)

I agree!!! Now, some parts of her house were tight, but, I think she moved in right b4 MTV showed up. I need to see some family portraits or something. I know, she says she's never there, but can't it look a little lived-in?

I liked Babyface's house, it was very classy and very tasteful. I especially liked the double-sided tv in the master bedroom and the shower---oh my.

Mariah, Mariah, Mariah.... nothing left to say about her. But I did love her dressing room. It reminded me of a boutique.

Master P may be a "bidnessman," but he has absolutely no sense of real taste or style.

i watch CRIBS a lot and hers definitely stood out. she also made ARCHITECHTURAL DIGEST b/c of her house. but, and there's always a but, the color scheme matched her skin. it's like she almost blended in. did anyone else notice that? and i was through when she had all those animals in the kitchen with her. her dog even has a space in the cabinet. since i'm not a pet-person, that just completeley grossed me out:(

I loved his house. Tasteful yet classy. I have "missed" Mariah's but does not sound like I am missing much. If I want a "striptease" please call Mo Chest for me. :p Mariah went from "CLASSY" to AZZZZZZZY:rolleyes:

I'm with you on how tasteful and classy his house is, I was really digging that double sided TV and shower, but I couldn't get with the old fashion tub. I just don't like them. But his house was definitely the bomb!!

Babyface's house was sweet.

Missy Elliot, err...what was up with all the naked greek like statues? Loved the fish tank wall though.

Tommy Lee's house wa the S(*t, especially the purple pillow room and the errr...uhh.."shower" thing in the bedroom.

Snoop Dogg's house was ridiculous as well.

And, who cares how slutty M. Carey looked, she's nice to look at. It's too bad that's all she's known for now, cause it sure isn't her singing, which is actually pretty good. Ya notice how far she fell off her track since she divorced Tommy Mottola?

I love MTV Cribs! Since everyone seems to have watched the Mariah episode - I have a question. I love love love that enormous couch she had - the one where she said "people tell me this is so comfortable". Do you think thats custom made or has anyone seen a piece like this before?

I think someone posted about how gross it was for the dogs to have a bed in a cabinet in the kitchen....well I am an animal person, and I think its gross too--but it was kinda cool to see.

I love Eddie George's house...and I just saw Nelly's house tonite which was beautiful.

It cracked me up to see Sean something something...from American Pie and Dude Wheres My Car....his place was hysterical -his sofa that he has had for years had holes in it and the floor in the kitchen is all messed up..he must be putting his $$ in the bank!

Mariah -- :rolleyes: :eek: :rolleyes: . Just stank, I watched that mess with some friends and clawd have mercy. Her closet is the size of both my bedrooms. WHYYYYYYYYY (i know y'all have talked about it but it is not official til I make my comment:p ;) ) did she get in that tub.:confused: :rolleyes: I was not FEELING THAT @ ALL!!

Sarah I like that couch too. It looked like it would get many naps logged in by me.:D If you find any info out, let me know but keep it in teacher salary budget.:p

that couch did look comfortable. i also liked the lighting in the mermaid room...but she was still annoying

very annoying indeed. how old is she now...? I remember being at work (we all have tvs on our desk...bc I work at a cable network)....and saying outloud with two of my co-workers "oh my lord...i know she is not gonna....oh she did...she took off that lil nightie and got into the bathtub"
same with all her videos lately...scandalous!

Method Man's home was featured a year or two ago - it was a decent house, I believe it was in the NJ suburbs. Understated and livable with some perks, but not all done over to the 10th power - he seems very smart financially and talks about saving and investing for his children and not wearing his money around his neck.

I love MTV Cribs! I love looking at the different homes and such. But question: WHY do all the men have the movie theaters in their houses? They have the BIG BIG tv and like the remote that controls the tv, stereo, dvd, lights, curtains, etc, etc. That is crazy! I mean you literally need both hands to use it. Oh and of course they have to have like 10 LAZ-E Boy chairs all lined up in rows. Too much money, I tell ya! But here are my comments on a couple shows:

Mariah--I missed the beginning of the episode, so I missed her getting in the tub. I did see the that part on the previews and I thought she was a little coo-coo for doing that. But her bathroom was SWEET! I LOVED that big couch she had! I want one just like it whenever I get a house to put it in :) Oh and her closet! Or closetS...ridiculous! I liked them, but I was just in awe. I mean, she has a SHOE ROOM! What the!? That was just a trip. But I liked how the one closet had the glass cases in them. It did look like a boutique as someone stated earlier. That was pretty cool. I just can't imagine having that many clothes and shoes though.

Did ya'll see Nelly's house? It was NICE! I was surprised at how tasteful it was. The fish tanks though...outta control. He had 4 of them. I guess I'm not a fish person. However, 2 of the tanks were in these pillars in his living room(?)...I forget. I thought that was a sweet idea. But his whole house was very, very nice. He seemed to have just enough stuff and didn't really seem to go overboard like some people (ie Master P)

Babyface had a very nice crib too. And I missed Missy's crib. I'll have to catch a re-run of that.
I can't wait to see Ludacris' crib! I think it comes on this week.

i agree... but i think she may be trying to relive her "youth" or something. also, did she seem medicated or something??? maybe it's just me, but she seemed "dopey"....

I am keeping Mariah in my prayers and meditations, ol' girl seems to still be having some issues.

Her place was the BOMB!!! I did like that bathroom, although the tub scene was... ummm... a bit much.

i agree!!! i don't know why, but i thought that it would be a hot mess. i was pleasantly surprised. although, i was thinking, he must have made a heck of a lot of money off that "country grammar" album...

shoot! I missed the one w/ Nellie in it. But I agree w/ everyone else in that Miss Mariah was lookin quite stank :rolleyes: I couldn't even watch it all the way thru. I really liked Usher's house and Missy's was just outrageous but I still loved it.

And just to comment on Redman's crib, I think he has a bigger, better house somewhere. I was listening to the radio a while ago and heard that he chose his "more humble" home just to be funny. :D

I thought Nellie's house was very nice as well. I just knew that he was going to go way over board like Master P, but I was really surprised at him. Anytime I see metal in someone's mouth....I think here we go again.

I can't say anything else about Mariah....she showed her thongs on TV, but didn't show her bedroom because she wanted to keep something "private"....OK.

How Come Kimora Lee was looking at Russell Simmons the entire time like "I hate your GAY Azz...just keep the $$$ coming and I'll put up with your flaming behind". She is SERIOUS about her shoes.

I really liked Nelly's spot. For all of the rappers that have showed their "cribs", I found his to be the most tastefull. Last season, I was too through after Cash Money showed their place with the jacuzzi thrown in the middle of the living room floor.

Wow. Kimora had Russell's baby, Ming Lee. The caiche must be super good.
And if you had a closet full of Manolo Blahniks, Jimmy Choos, you'd be serious about your shoes too. Those suckers are pricey.;)

Oh my lord....Im at work watching the MTV crib of Chynna (China, Chyna) whatever...the WWF wrestler....I now know what a 220lb man with breast implants looks like in a bikini.

I've never seen this show, but love decorating, etc. When does it come on? I never even surf past MTV.
