rush at lehigh
 

I decided to start a new post...last night i posted --ok so day one is over! fhheeew! i am so wiped. i had an absolute blast today. all the sisters were so cute, nice and absolutely adorable. i love the songs they sang and i am more pumped about rush than i was b4 it started if that is possible. i liked all the houses but felt the most at home, or clicked the most with axo, aphi, dg and gamma phi. we pick up our invites tomorrow morning. im so nervous!!!! AHHHHHHH wish me luck! tomorrow is philanthropy and we can go up to 7 house and i really hope i get the max. im keeping my fingers crosse. ill update tomorrow morning

i just picked up my invites. i only got six but i got three that i really wanted...axo, dg, and aphi. i also got alpha gam, chi o and theta. i am really looking forward to philanthrophy today at 12. wish me luck only two more days of cuts and then its over!!!

i think things went really well at two of the three i wanted. there was also a suprise house that i didnt think was a top choice, alpha gam! they were really sweet. today i find out which ones i get back. we can go to up to four today. philanthrophy was a lot of fun. we made door hangers, sun catchers, book marks etc. i loved it. i cant wait for tonight. wish me luck i hope i get the three i want again!!!! Ahhhhh! im so nervous

ahhhhhhhh .... the suspense is slowly killing me, or at least torturing me a little!! ... I'm so nervous for her - I hope that everything worked out ... according to the Theta chapter website, rush ends today (14th) ... hopefully she's too busy having a blast & bonding with her new sisters :o)

We all definitely hope that your rush experience was everything that you hoped it would be :) However, having said that, we know that sometimes things don't always work out the way they are supposed to - I'm sure each of us could share multiple stories about rush nightmares & awesome people that somehow fell through the cracks wrongfully. What I am trying to say is that you are a welcome member of the GC community whether you are greek or not ... it doesn't matter to us!! :) I sincerely hope that you will continue to visit the site & post as well.

Once again, best wishes to you & I will look forward to hearing that you're still around - we miss ya around here! ;)

this is ZTAMich who STILL can't post under that name...anyways...I've seen whiteroses on AOL IM with away messages like "at bid day dinner" so possibly things went well :) She hasn't replied to me tho! I'm dying to know what's really happened too...esp since we go to school really close to each other.

So maybe she is just busy with her new sorority!! That's good. I was beginning to think it didn't go so well.

It could also be that she doesn't want anyone to have any way of finding out who she is. I hope she is happy, that is the important thing. I would guess she has read the posts and she knows we are all thinking of her.

Guys calm down ;) Im sure she will be back in all, but we have to remember the semester did just start out for people, so they have a ton of stuff to do. Plus since it looks like she did get a bid, im sure shes busy with new member activities :D

hey everyone sorry it took me so long to get back to you. i was cut from all the houses that i orginally wanted on the second invitations. i went back to chi o and theta. i ended up choosing chi o which is new to our campus as of 2000! i wasnt sure at first since they are a new house and havent really developed a strong image here at lehigh. but my best friend becky and i ended up in chi o together so i think it work out for the best. i love the upperclassmen and girls who are sophmores like me. i will be able to run for a high position in the house and hopefully get more people excited about chi o here. apparently they didnt want to take sophmores this year bc almost all the other girls were cut, cross cut of withdrew out of being cut from the "good houses". i love chi o and i hope others next year will see how things can improve and that chi o really is the best house on campus and they just dont know it yet. :)
