Alumnae Initiation Quest

First off let me say I understand where Eagle Scout_mom is coming from. However, each person is different and each situation is entirely of itself unique when finding your way through Alumnae initiation.

I too have been reading post for sometime unsure I wanted to post or even sign up for an acct. I find at my old age of 40s I am getting braver by the day to risk things.

I like many others went to college and for one way or another didn't pledge or go through rush.

I feel I can say I am confident I am not some sorority whack j ob looking for or shopping for any group to join.

I am glad to know there are groups who are open to this level of membership and value someone willing to give more than just four yrs of college.

My pearls are one of my favorite crossing gifts! Just does something to an outfit! (Plus my line name is Persistent Pearl, so that just spurred my love for them even more!)

AZTheta 09-09-2013 04:54 PM

I could be a mascot? Persistence is great. I could be Tenacious Theta...that sounds good.

sigh.

I personally prefer Thenacious Theta...it sounds like you have a bit of a lithp, as it were, but it certainly is more memorable! Plus it goes with the "th" theme!

NOTE: I have bad ideas. Don't listen to me:p

Ah, Greekchat summed up in just a few short words.

winner winner.../s/ a thpeech language pathologitht.

'cept substituting "th" for "t" isn't a predictable or typical error but that ruins the thenanigans ( and there is a difference b/w voiceless "s" and "sh" and again we need to describe the error pattern of voiceless "th" for "sh"... oh dear, where is Blondie93? Bail me out now)

I'm having a hard time believing this person is actually an adult interested in AI. I mean really, what 40-something woman calls herself Sunflwr_prncess?

The thing is - who would perp being an AI-interest? This whole thing is so bizarre.

Sunflwr_prncess 09-10-2013 11:49 AM

If there is a moderator please close my thread .....I guess immaturity wins!
