Where did you grow up
 

I guess I am just curious on this one. I know where almost everyone went to school or is living now, but where did everyone grow up? Wouldn't it be weird if some of us grew up in the same town?? I'll go first--

I was born on Sanibel Island, FL and moved "in town" when I was in grade school to Fort Myers, FL

I grew up in Southgate, Michigan. I went to school all over the place (U.Maryland, Michigan State) and now live in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Born and lived in Buffalo, NY until i was 4. Moved an hour down the highway to Rochester, NY (where I currently am). Went to school in Ann Arbor, MI (University of Michigan...Go Blue!)

Houston!!! With summers in Port Bolivar and in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Born in Lexington, Ky. Raised and lived all my life in Pine Grove, Ky. Pop. 63. (not a damn pine tree for miles) I live in Richmond, Ky. now, its over the river and about 25 minutes from home.

Born in Danville, IL - lived there until I was 12- rest of my life- Fairfield, Connecticut (excluding 4 years in Terre Haute, Indiana)

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Went to college there, too. Since I graduated, I have lived in New York City; Virginia Beach, VA; Princeton, NJ; Portland, ME and here in Annapolis, MD.

Portland and Annapolis will always stand out because that's where my babies were born :)

I was born in North Vancouver but moved to Vancouver when I was 2. I have been here ever since, including university (UBC).

Ooops, guess I should say where I ended up---
I went from Fort Myers. to school in Burlington, NC(Elon College, baby!) to Washington, DC(so not a fan) and finally to ATLANTA, which I LOVE

Born in Baton Rouge, LA...moved to nearby Denham Springs, LA when I was 9 (it's about 30 minutes east of Baton Rouge). I go to LSU in Baton Rouge. As much as I love being from Louisiana it's time for me to leave. As soon as I graduate I'm out of here. I'm staying in the south just don't know where yet!!!

Born and raised in Detroit,Mich.(except for the short time I lived in California after I was born)

Lived in Mich till 87. Then we moved to New Orleans. Went to high school there and then off to Louisiana Tech in Ruston. Graduated Tech in 95 then moved back to Mich(Auburn Hills to be exact) Stayed in Auburn Hills till late 96. Spent a month in San Antonio. Then back to New Orleans till August of 98. Then it was off to Baton Rouge in August 98. Stayed in Baton Rouge till June of 2001 when I moved to Texas

Come to Texas, Allison. You'll still be close to Louisiana and you'll still be in the South;)

I lived in Plum Boro, PA (Pittsburgh Suburb...also my HS's rival!) for a few weeks, then moved in "The Cabbage Patch" part of Penn Hills. Then we moved here to (when we made PH neighborhoods, we called it East Ghetto PH) the Middle of Penn Hills. I stayed for a time at my grandmas in Plum, and at an apartment near the HS for a bit.. but we've always had this house. I think its cool though... that I didnt move around alot... cos there are still things written on the doors of our 'office' which used to be my room... and just lots of memories!

Eventhough all of my best friends on the street moved out the same year!

I was born in Denver CO but I didnt live there long....I moved to MI where I lived until I was 8 and thats when I moved to TN!!!

Born in Atlanta, GA. In Atlanta (Stone Mtn) til I was 6 then the family moved to Hawaii. Lived in Hawaii from ages 6-9. Came back to Georgia and lived in Lawrenceville til I graduated high school. Freshman year of college I spent in Cleveland, OH (hell on earth, but colder...alot colder)...went to Emory in Atlanta, then where I'm at now- Valdosta, GA. (20 miles from the Fla border).

Born in Louisville and spent two years there.
Then we moved to the Netherlands (Holland). My father was in the US Air Force. I lived here until I was 6.
Then we moved to San Antonio, Texas, until 1991.
And then we moved to Belleville, Ill., a St. Louis suburb.
But I am not done growing up yet!!!!
Soon I'll be in the Chicago area.:D

Born in Jacksonville, FL moved to the "burbs"(Orange Park, FL) when I was 1 lived in the same house, and drove into Jacksonville every morning to H.S., until I went to college.

After college I have lived in Charlotte, NC and Tampa, FL

I was born in Calgary, Alberta; moved to a VERY small town Holden, AB for elementary and Gr 7, then Gr 8 & 9 in Killam, AB; then back to Calgary for high school & university (with one visiting year at the U of Victoria). Moved with hubby to Toronto for 3 years, have been in Winnipeg, Manitoba for almost 2, and will be moving back to Toronto at the end of June.

I was born in Chicago and raised in Niles, Illinois, a very cheesy near north suburb. Went to college in Appleton, Wisconsin, grad school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and am now living in Huntington Beach, California.

Oh my ... someone else born in Lexington!!. I was born in Lexington, Ky. Moved to Bowling Green, Ky when I was 7. Moved to Tucson, AZ in 1984.

BTW, KABillyMac, my parents are EKU graduates and my great-uncle was the football coach there in the 1930s and 1940s.

I was born and raised in Bristol,Connecticut, the home of ESPN. It's kinda an industrial town, very working-class, about 50,000 people. The only reason anyone's ever heard of it outside of CT is when I mention that ESPN is based here.

I was born in Winston Salem, NC. I lived various places in NC until I was 10. I moved to Lompoc , CA when I was 10 and was there about 3 years. Then at 13 I moved to Jesup, GA . I moved to Valdosta, GA when I went to college. I graduated from Valdosta did the job thing for about a year and recently decided to go back and get my second degree.

I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX but go to school in San Antonio right now.

I was born in Ft Worth Tx, and lived between here and Tampa FL for about 10 years. Now I just bounce around between Ft Worth and Denton! I live in Ft Worth now, but will be moving to Denton in a few months.

Born in New Rochelle, New York, the day we were moving to Old Bridge, New Jersey. Moved back to Los Angeles when I was 2 and stayed here for college (UCLA) and law school (USC). My mom moved to Kirkland, Washington and then Seaside and Beaverton, Oregon (when I was in high school) so I've spent summers and significant amounts of time in those places.

I have grandparents who used to have a house on Sanibel Island and now live in Fort Myers. I used to spend time there during the summers.

Yeah, you may know where Pine Grove is then, its i Fayette County, about 30 minutes from Lex. Its right where Clark and Fayette come together. THere is nothing there but a post office and a stop sign.

I go to EKU now, glad to hear that someone actually knows where I am.

I was born in Boynton Beach, FL and lived in Boca Raton, FL for 4 year until my dad's job sent him on assignment to Tokyo, Japan. We lived there for 2 year. I came back to the US to attend 1st grade in Coral Springs, FL. Our home was finally built a year later and we moved two miles to Parkland, FL. (Parkland and Coral Springs are suburbs of Ft.Lauderdale) I lived there for eleven years until I moved here to Orlando to attend college.

Born and raised on Long Island, went to school in Boston.

I spent a couple of years living in Bristol. KSigkid, don't sell it short, they've got Lake Compounce too :)

Now... western Connecticut. I just can't get out of the Northeast :)

I was born in Los Angeles, raised in the suburbs, and go to school there. I am planning my escape.
