35 Signs You Miss Your Sorority

This is hilarious (and somewhat true!)

I saw that online and about fell out of my chair! How many anchor jewelry items do I have? Way too many and am sitting here in my Old Navy pants with anchors embroidered on them.

Love <3 it all!

Oh my gosh there are a couple of very Bitter Betties in those comments! I can't figure out why someone who hates sororities would even waste their time reading an article about us! Why do they think they are so creative and original about saying sorority members pay for our friends? That's about the most old and tired thing I have ever seen bitter geeds say! They should be as lucky as we are to have so many wonderful friends to share a lifetime with! I loved that article, especially the photo of the older ladies. So sweet!

Yep -- even after 40 years!

Nothing wrong with having a collection of owls on a baker's rack and a t shirt quilt in the den.

And anchors are very "in" this year....

Guilty, guilty, guilty! I love the Theta quilt, and of course, throwing what you know! <>

That Theta quilt is awesome!

Agree with most. Haven't read the Legally Blonde book yet. Is it any good?

Honey, I wish I could remember where but I recently saw a picture of Ice-T throwing a diamond (isn't that what it's called) with some of your Pitt sisters in the student union. It was awesome!

Hahaha, oh, nice shirts in the very first pic, ladies. Who the hell approved those?

Cool! If you ever remember, let me know! My most exciting time was as we were driving down to Florida (long story), and saw an ADPi bumper sticker. I told Jim to pull up next to the car, and did my half of the diamond, and they threw it back, with much horn honking! It was great! <>

unfortunately the XL T-shirts actually fit now lol
but my quilt is in my daughter's room
...many of those things are after my time..(legally blond, babies)...but I can relate to the rest

This past summer I actually had my 40 plus year old sister-in-law (who was an independent) respond to my active daughter's (and her niece) question as to whether she was in a sorority by saying "no, I didn't need to pay for my friends". I literally sat there with my mouth open.

I hope you responded, "I've seen your friends - maybe you should have done so!"

Probably should have, but I took the high road and changed the subject. Haha.

and just to be cute, here's the chapter (obviously not dolled up!) throwing the diamond with the Pitt Police, who gave them self defense lessons:
