Greetings Sorors!!! I have been browsing and responding to threads for a while as a sisterfriend. Now I am honored to post as a member of the most illustrious sorority there is.

Thank you Sorors and Sisterfriends. I really worked hard to earn my letters. I know without a doubt that I deserve this. God has given me two of the desires of my heart, a job as an Elementary School Teacher and membership into "The Best" Sorority there is. These were two of my life goals. Now it's time to set new goals.

I just wanted to congratulate you and let you know that my nephew, Tariq, was born on the same day you became a member. He's a week old now. I had a feeling he was going to be about a week early (my sister's due date was 1/6) b/c I had a dream that I attended a funeral, and funerals usually signify births or weddings. I remarked to my family and friends that he was born on the second day of Kwanzaa, kujichagulia, which means self-determination. He definitely was determined to come into the world. Needless to say, I'm happy that he, my other nephew who's 5 months old, my 17 month old niece, my newest goddaughter who was born on 12/21 as well as my 4 other godchildren are all healthy. I wish you the best of luck with all of your future endeavors. :D
