C.D.'s from my best friend. When I came home for Thanksigiving I left my small case of c.d.'s in the restroom at Midway airport. I lost aabout 25 that day but I have gained about 150 from my friend!!! ISN'T THAT SWEET!!

Well, I don't have a long list. First and foremost I received the gift of life.

As for material things, I received a DVD player and a wall arrangement (picture) for my kitche. and a few items for my desk at school.

OHHHH!! I must not forget, I became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorotity, Incorporated on December 27, 2001. That was a wonderful after Christmas gift.

My presents came in a combination of birthday/Christmas presents:
1. A Virgin mobile cell phone (very awesome gift, but I forgot that I"m a spaz that nobody calls. :( )
2. A very nice cosemetic case filled with makeup from JCPenny's.
3. A really pretty red purse also from JCPenny's.
4. Red boots (the kind that only go up a little past your ankle).
5. A Bongo bookbag.
6. A Conair curler that has the following features (straigtening, crimping, spiral curls and waves). Perfect for someone like me who hates having the same hair style on a daily basis.
7. A Daisy necklace from Kay Jewelers (I actually ended up buying this myself when I unintentionally was approved for store credit).
8. A super cute black cocktail dress that I plan to use mainly for recruitment parties from Dilliard's. I bought that one myself as well.
9. A hatbox to hold all my odds and ends.
10. A keychain of the CareBear "CheerBear" from my lil'.
11. A choker necklace from my best friend/roommate.
12. A kitten calendar aslo from my roommate.
13. A photoframe of me and my little at the Homecoming Dance.
14. A personal favorite: A Rainbow Brite charm necklace that I bought myself.

Before I leave to go back to school, my parents are going to get me a bike as well. I made out pretty well this year.

came mostly from myself this year. Only because thats life sometimes and because its not what you get....its what you give which will come in January this year. Money kinda tight.

Early gifts from myself were:

A car (1999 Honda Civic)
New "work" wardrobe that cost a grip

I was raised Muslim, so I really don't do the exchanging gifts under the Christmas tree thing, but I do celebrate by being with family and friends. I got to see my uncle from Florida and my cousins from Virginia. I also got to spend time with my daughter and watch her enjoy her gifts (the above mentioned all celebrate). My gifts sound corny, but I know the holiday spirit is also about spreading love, so I do that (yeah I get away with not exchanging gifts but I still go over people's house and eat the food! ;) )
