The Bachelor - SEAN LOWE

Anyone else out there watch the premiere tonight!? I love Sean!:)

Heard that Lindsay - the gal who wore the wedding dress - is a TriDelta.

Wonder if there are any other Greeks on the show this season?

BAckbOwlsgIrl 01-08-2013 12:42 AM

I saw so much yellow-blonde hair it was not funny! Makes me want to projectile vomit!

Tierra and her black lace over white dress was ugly. And the heart tattoo on her finger, that was weird. I can only hope that it was not permanent. Her yorkie is cheesy too. Really? What guy wants a small dog dressed up. Guess that she has the big boobs to overcome it. She got the first impression rose.

Kelly, the cruise ship singer was so fake. Don't wear your outfits from the ship on the show.

Speaking of which, is it just me or did some of the dresses look very pageanty?

I loved Jackie, the cosmetic rep. Desiree the bridal rep was sooo cute. I also liked Paige, and Lindsey the jumbotron operator. Robyn was adorable with her bumbled gymnastics.

So cool that Sarah got a rose. Kudos to him for seeing beyond the arm. Then again, in this day and age, unless she was a total slut, he had to give her one rose.

I missed seeing all of the show but those are just my impressions.
Who was drunk girl?
And the bride? I wonder what Desiree thought of her dress.

I thought that Ashley H, the fashion model was WAY over the top. Too much.

I loved Taryn's dress.

Kinda disappointed that no one gave him her panties as in season's past.

GPhiBLtColonel 01-08-2013 01:06 AM

I think Desiree is the one whose boyfriend shows up in a later epsiode to get her back - too bad, I thought she was cute.

Lindsay - the one is the wedding dress - is kinda goofy which I liked. She is a substitute teacher - on the TV show it said she is from Ft Leonard Wood MO but her bio on the ABC site says Ft Bragg NC....wonder which it is?

The Jumbotron operator is Paige and she was the one who was on The Bachelor Pad 3. Sean didn't give her a rose - good thing, I did not care for her.

It seeams that in the previews of later episodes, Sean is with darker haired women - perhaps he doesn't care too much for blondes?

The girl with the sparkle dress in the end dancing/ 50 shades of gray should have went through, I was cracking up the whole time. I wanted her to make it through just for laughs

ChioLu 01-08-2013 12:15 PM

One of the bachelorettes, Kristy Kaminski, is a DG (I believe).

She's from the Detroit area and is being bashed right and left for her wackiness. Speculation is that the bar where she works is going to be very busy for a while.

wareagle93 01-08-2013 07:44 PM

I really liked AshLee. Her story about going through 6 foster homes in one year before finally landing with a family was heartbreaking. She seems sweet.

I thought Tierra was really sweet.

Lindsay's time with Sean was, well, awkward. Someone was a little too, umm, tipsy.

WhiteDaisy128 01-15-2013 08:41 AM

Have to brag for Oregon State DGs...Sean asked for photos of viewing parties on Twitter...the OSU DGs sent this in:

Sean then called the sister that posted it and wrote back on Twitter. Awesome!

^^^^ Funny :)

CutiePie2000 02-07-2013 02:52 AM

I'm surprised that this thread has come to a screeching halt, what with all the drama caused by the "Tierra'rist". ;)

The "shivering to death" after the polar bear plunge was a little too much for me.

axWOAH 02-07-2013 04:03 AM

Tierra-ist

OMG I HATE TIERRA! She's so fake and CRAZY! I wish Sean would stop giving a rose to every girl that cries!

AGDee 02-07-2013 06:53 AM

I think the producers make them keep a drama queen to keep the season interesting.

WhiteDaisy128 02-07-2013 08:39 AM

Tierra is CRAZY! Her laugh is downright scary!

On another note, Sean struck DG again! He showed up at our UCLA's chapter house during their viewing party with Chris Harrison and a filming crew!

Seems like they are doing A LOT of PR this time!

princessamy 02-07-2013 10:58 AM

Why does a guy that handsome need to be on the bachelor?

ChioLu 02-09-2013 03:02 AM

Sean and Chris also met with about 70 UCLA Gamma Phi Betas the same night as DG. He didn't take off his shirt though. They forgot to tell Chris & Sean that one of their famous alums -- Kristen Chenowith -- is dating former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka!

BAckbOwlsgIrl 02-12-2013 01:50 AM

Trashierra went home...

I am so glad that Tierra, "Trashierra" went home. She said some nasty stuff. She was such a priss. So not like people from Colorado. And her comment about the 32 year Cougar...that is so way off! If she ever goes skiing, I hope that she gets blown off the chairlift and no one goes looking for her.

May be someone will push here off the top of Mount Evans or one of the high end properties that she is leasing.

AGDee 02-12-2013 07:06 AM

I'm betting that after watching the first few episodes, Sean was breathing a sigh of relief that he made that choice.

wareagle93 02-13-2013 02:35 AM

I really hope he picks Desiree or Catherine. I don't have a problem with any of the 4 remaining girls, but they're my 2 favorites.

DaffyKD 02-13-2013 03:06 PM

Am I the only one who thinks Desiree looks like Catherine Bell?

DaffyKD

wareagle93 02-19-2013 12:01 AM

I'd like to see Desiree as the Next Bachelorette.

Leslie Anne 02-19-2013 12:19 AM

Desiree and Catherine were my favorites so tonight was sad to watch. I think he and Catherine are great together but if she was in the bottom two then I guess he's not feeling it. I can see him fitting in with Lindsay pretty well. AshLee is sweet but I don't think Sean is strong enough to support such an emotionally unstable person.

I actually don't see him ending up with any of these women. Just a guess.

I wouldn't assume that the last two are necessarily "the bottom two". Some of that is scripted drama for the TV audience. I think he knew when he left Des and her family that he was not choosing her.

Oh, okay. I hadn't thought of that.

GPhiBLtColonel 02-19-2013 01:36 PM

I heard that some of the spoiler sites are saying Sean picks Catherine in the end. I like her and they do seem to have great chemistry together but - after hearing her sisters' remarks - perhaps she and Sean don't end up getting married because she does seem awfully independent and like she is just giving things a try - not necessarily making a full commitment.

I am glad Tierra was finally sent packing - what a looney tune!

I personally think the best match would be Lindsey or AshLee - they both seem to be ready for marriage and the commitment that entails - and I guess I slightly favor Lindsey because of her military connection ;)

AGDee 02-26-2013 07:05 AM

Reality Steve seems to have the real scoop again this season. His spoilers have been right on target from the beginning. I wonder how crazy it makes ABC that someone tells him the total results at the beginning of each season?

It drives the executive producer, Mike Fleiss crazy. Apparently 2 years ago, when Brad was the Bachelor, the producers hired someone to give RS fake information-that Emily and Chantal were the final 2 (which they were), but that Brad was engaged to Chantal. RS ran with that for months until like 2 weeks before the finale when he correctly spoiled that Brad was engaged to Emily.

Here's my question. Why, the last few years has there always been a proposal in the finale? I've read some interviews from past contestants who have said that the contract doesn't read that they have to propose, or even pick one of the last 2 contestants. 7 weeks and they're getting "engaged"? If there's a guy or girl you really like is it too much to ask to just give them the final rose and agree to keep dating?

Didn't that occur at least once on the show?

AGDee 02-27-2013 07:50 PM

It has occurred. And there was the time that the guy dumped both of them. Was that Brad too? I don't recall.

I think that most of the show is scripted, especially the year that he picked one, they broke up and he got with the #2 girl. I think that was a big set up.

I'm not even sure why I still watch the show, but I do...lol. It is still entertaining, even if it is mostly scripted. I did feel for AshLee this week though. If she really was trusting Sean, that probably set off a lot of her abandonment issues. I'm never sure how real some of the emotions are or if that's all scripted too though.

wareagle93 02-28-2013 11:34 AM

Word is that they'll be announcing the Next Bachelorette on the live After The Final Rose finale on March 11. Reality Steve says that it won't be the runner up (between Lindsay and Catherine). I'd like to see it be Desiree but I'm content with anyone else.

AGDee 03-12-2013 06:00 AM

I should probably stop reading Reality Steve so I'm surprised at the end, eh?

I've gotten to where I don't even watch the show, but just read Reality Steve.

You must have a crystal ball!!!!:D

ASUADPi 03-17-2013 08:13 AM

I give it 5 months as MOST of the bachelor relationships don't make it beyond that and not ONE had actually ended in a marriage.

IndianaSigKap 03-17-2013 03:00 PM

Jason married his runner up! There have been two bachelorette weddings. Maybe they just need to do more of those.

BAckbOwlsgIrl 03-17-2013 05:20 PM

Media Whores

Announcing right away that they will have their wedding on national television just screams MEDIA WHORES.

And the way that he likes to take off his shirt on all the time. He has the body, but, still...

I don't care how sincere they are, this is all one big publicity stunt.

Give them SIX months and they will be split city...which means more MEDIA!

See a pattern here???

Who wants to bet on how long that they will stay together? I bet 3 TROLL RECRUITMENT STORIES on 6 months.

Catherine and Sean may love one another, and truly desire marriage, but it's ABC who are running the publicity stunt.

In the after-proposal show, Catherine did not facially seem to savor the idea of a televised wedding. Her smile faded and she tightened her lips.

She may have been 'talking positive' only for the show, keeping things 'light' (as desired by show producers?) especially since Sean mentioned the two of them were "still discussing" the matter.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without wondering if your guests will agree to show up when it's nationally televised (and available for the world on the webs).

Typical but shameful of the producers to put the brand-new couple on-the-spot every season-concluding episode.

AGDee 03-18-2013 07:48 PM

I disagree Cheerio. These people are foolish enough to sign up to be on the show. They know the score when they start. They sign contracts. And, to BackbOwls... everybody on the show is a media whore. That's what it is about. That's the premise of the show.

Found out Lesley Murphy (Final 5) is a Chi Omega from UGA and her sister, Jordan, is a Chi Omega from UCLA. Lesley confirms it on her facebook page (don't know if I'm allowed to add the link since it's a personal page, but you can easily google it).

Oh, if you're in Los Angeles this Friday (April 5), there's a celebrity date auction featuring several past contestants of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (including Lesley). Tickets are $50 -- which includes drinks, appetizers, live music, & auction.
