Favorite Cereal
I don't know WHAT ClassyLady was talkin' about, lol, but CEREAL goes hand in hand with cartoons!!! ;)
So, what's your favorite cereals? Mine are Corn Pops Cap'n Crunch Frosted Flakes Corn Flakes Honey Crunch Corn Flakes Sugar Crisp Cocoa Puffs Cocoa Crispies I do NOT do generic cereal, except the generic Sugar Crisp in the bag. I learned, it does not taste the same. It was better when back in the day, the generic cereal came in yellow and black or white and black boxes, yeah, that was cool. Today, stores wanna make their own cereal, and it's nasty. |
Fav Cereals
As a kid, I used to LOOOOOOOVE "Cinnamon Toast Crunch", as well as "Almond Delight" and "O's", "Rice Crispies", among others...Man, I remember back in the day my Mom used to buy like 8 boxes of cereal for us to last for a month...it was cheap then--now it's like $5 per box! :eek:
Now the only cereals I like are whole grains, such as "Raisin Bran" (my absolute favorite) and "Frosted Shredded Wheat"... The only generic brand cereal I've tasted that I actually liked was made by Vons...it was flakes w/ almonds... I eat these with Non-Fat Milk (Vitamin D is gross--You can TASTE the fat in it)... |

I love me some original Cap'n Crunch, but your mouth is all cut up after you finished. You can't eat two bowls because you might risk bleeding!!

1. Honey Nut Cheerios 2. The Original Alphabits 3. Nut N Honey 4. Cap'n Crunch (I wait until it softens a little before eating) 5. Raisin Bran 6. Honey Comb 7. Apple Jacks 8. Froot Loops 9. Golden Crisp 10. Honey Total 11. Rice Crispies w/ a little sugar 12. Cocoa Crispies 13. Cocoa Puffs 14. Honey Bunches of Oats 15. Life (Regular and Cinnamon) 16. Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles As you can tell, I have an extremely sweet tooth, but I can't help it. I can't stand unsweetened cereal, it's too bland and uninteresting!!! |

I hate the generic brand
I have never liked the generic brand of cereal. One time my mom bought the generic brand of Apple Jacks, called Apple Rings. Those little things were so hard that they actually hurt the roof of my mouth while I was chewing them. They should have been called Apple Rocks.
Anyway, here are my favorites Apple Jacks Fruit Loops Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cocoa Puffs Apple Cinnamon Cheerios Kix Frosted Flakes Rice Krispies Raisin Bran I ate all of these as a child and now, I really don't like cold cereal. On the mornings when I actually do eat breakfast, I'll get a hot bowl of Cream of Wheat. It could be 199 degrees outside and I'll still eat Cream of Wheat. |
My favorites are:
Fruity Pebbles Lucky Charms (I love the marshmallows, if you can really call them that) Captain Crunch (It is hard on the mouth, you have to let sit a bit before eating) Apple Jacks (They do NOT taste like apples, I don't know where the name came from, but they're good) Corn Pops Honeycomb (I can eat these right out the box) Cornflakes, dry with a glass of kool-aid on the side. :) But now I only eat: Mini Shredded Wheat (Frosted) Raisin Bran Multi-Grain Cheerios Of the ones I eat now, I like the Mini-Wheats the best. |

my favorites are: Frosted Flakes (my ABSOLUTE favorite!) Honey Nut Cheerios Golden Grahams Basic 4 Apple Jacks Fruity Pebbles (occassionally) Sometimes I'll just buy whatever cereal is on sale (as long as I have some of my favorites already at home). I keep at least 6 boxes of cereal in my house at all times! Peace! |

My favorite cereal in the whole world is : Lucky Charms: I thought my parent's had to have gone crazy when they gave me candy for breakfast the first time. I still eat the marshmallows our of the box.

Rice Krispies Special K (the one with the strawberries!!!) I haven't really read through this thread, but I have to have my cereal a little "soggy", so I let it sit for a few minutes. I don't like crunchy cereal. Go figure. :confused: |

This way I don't have to buy it for home because i would eat them in 2 days.:p I did like the Quaker bagged cereals and am mad that they don't seem to sell them anymore. |
