I know my beloved Broncos chances are not good, but I remain hopeful that Peyton will be the second coming of John Elway and lead us back to the Promised Land....or at least past the second round of the playoffs.

bahaha I may disagree, but I completely understand the sentiment. Though I'm not a Broncos fan, I'll be paying attention to them this season to see how it goes. Peyton's got a lot of pressure on him, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

haha. Yeah so anyway, you are right. The Replacements SUCK ass. Outside of the Oakland Raiders, how the hell do you call 13, yes America, 13 penalties????

^^^Watch a CFB game officiated by Pac-12 refs. I think they could call 13 penalties in a quarter....then take 5 minutes to talk amongst themselves, review the rules, and look at 85 replay angles to figure out what they need to do after each of those penalties....maybe that's who the replacements are-former Pac 12 officials. That would explain everything. LOL.

Ms. Gwyn - my husband is a Dolphins fan as well. The only thing that makes me feel better about my Broncos is that he's been suffering more than me the last few seasons.

Dude was almost 90, so I think he lived a long life. I'm wasn't really shocked, though. I guess I was and wasn't at the same time, put it like that. One, because of his longevitiy with the Browns and the other part of me because it was just a matter of time.

They really haven't been tight since Favre retired. I'm also not feeling y'alls quarterback this season.

It's been a busy week so I haven't been able to get over here since Sunday, but all I will say is I have no idea who that team was that showed up to Mile High on Sunday. They may have been dressed in black and yellow, but they were not the Steelers I'm used to watching. I've got a feeling this is going to be a weird season with the injuries and adjusting to losing Hines Ward. Bleh. My poor little anxious self is not going to be able to handle football season this year.

^^^Well, one game does not a season make in either direction, and I'm totally prepared for the Broncos to turn around and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for the rest of the season. That seems to be our pattern. I hope Peyton changes it, but we'll see.

The Skins look like the old skins (well, at least tonight they did). RGIII or no, there's something seriously wrong that needs to get fixed ASAP. I was hoping that this season would have less drama off the field, but it looks like the drama is on the field and in making stupid decisions.

That being said, we need the real refs back BADLY. There were so many bad calls today- helmet to helmet, personal fouls, etc.

At least my 49ers look good.
