Things on television that you are always excited to watch

SATC

Also, I look forward to monologues of late-night shows, including:
Leno (also for Headlines)
Jimmy Fallon (Slow Jam the News, Thank You Notes and the silly games)
Conan (I like his interviews the most, also his monologues)

I can also watch Big Bang Theory for hours on end.

I hadn't watched it before, but this season of MasterChef has a really inspiring storyline. One of the home cooks who has made it to the top-4 is very nearly blind. The way she's overcome her lack of eyesight on that show has been nothing short of inspiring.

I can always watch those countdown shows. I've spent full Sunday afternoons glued to "100 Most Awesomely Bad Songs of the 90s" and of that ilk. I watch mostly for the social commentary from the B-list comedians and actors and sometimes for the nostalgia.

lovespink88 08-29-2012 11:26 AM

I, of course, have my favorite TV shows, but I think there are a few guilty pleasure things I watch that I will watch over and over again although I've already seen them (which I assume is the point of the thread...not just favorite shows):

My two are the VH1 "I Love the" series and "The Greatest" series

I Love the 80s
I Love the 90s
I Love the New Millennium
100 Greatest Songs of All Time
100 Greatest Artists of All Time
100 Greatest Songs of the 90s
100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs
100 Most Shocking Music Moments
100 Greatest Songs of the 00s

I have watched all of these numerous times, and I will sit there and watch them in their entirety if I catch them on and have the time.

(Looking at "The Greatest" website on VH1.com, looks like there's WAY more episodes than I realized...too bad I don't have VH1) :(

I watched an episode of 'Go On' and I liked it. Did that just start this year? I had never heard of it, then I caught an episode a couple weeks ago, but I heard the premier is tomorrow..

Confused!

But I'm watching.. :)

The episode you saw was the Pilot (it aired once during the Olympics and again tonight). They keep referring to it as a "sneak peek into the season". The "official"(?) season starts tomorrow with episode 2.

Ok.. That makes sense! Haha. Thanks

1. Ghost Hunters. The original series. A few years ago, I was taking some acting classes and one in particular was only available on Wednesdays. Class was supposed to end at 9:30 but always ended around 10, so whole drive home was spent excited about the episode. Thank heaven for DVR, because the show came on at 9pm!

2. Boardwalk Empire. Can't wait for the new episodes!

3. Heroes and 24. Though they both were cancelled, my husband and I were obsessed with the shows.

No longer watching. I've tried, I really have. However, the pilot episode is the only one that I really found amusing.
