The new Pepsi Twist...

I think it tastes awful! It's lemon flavored pepsi (according to the ingredients, there is no lemon or lemon juice added at all) It tastes more like pepsi with a twist of lemon flavored TheraFlu.

I understand why they thought this idea would work (I've added lemon to my coke many a times), but really Pepsi..why couldn't you just add real lemon...or better yet, leave well enough alone.

My students were just raving about it last period. I am not a lemon person especially not with a coke product.

It's weird but kids do seem to have taken a liking to this horrid concoction. One child described it to me as "Lemon iced tea with the extra kick to it". Go figure! :rolleyes:

Heck one of my students loved that RED MOUNTAIN DEW that they invented earlier this year a lot. She said it tasted like gummy worms. :confused: I say the stuff tastes like RED POP, IMO.

I think Pepsi twist tastes like flat Pepsi does, only with carbonation (I hope that makes sense). I really like the red Mountain Dew, but its not as good as the orginal!!!

The Pepsi twist is absolutely disgusting (although my roommate has taking a liking to it). However, I do love the red Mountain Dew.

The Green melon flavored one is NASTY (I think it's either Mello Yello, or Mountain Dew)!

One hyphenated word. Handi-wipe.

I haven't tried Pepsi Twist, but I've tried the Diet Coke with lemon and it's good stuff. Then again, I also remember Pepsi One, which had lemon. I wish they had Tab (yes, I drink Tab) with lemon.

I gave up on Pepsi years ago. I like Coke much better. Pepsi always has these gimmicky flavors that never seem to stay on the market for more than a month or two.

Does anyone else remember Pepsi Clear? It came out around the early 90s. What about Pepsi Kona? That nasty coffee flavored Pepsi.

I'd rather stick to plain old Coca Cola. No gimmicks, no nasty flavors. Just original Coca Cola. It's good enough for me.

Aaw, I think it's awesome. It taste so much better than reg. mellow yellow. oh well, different strokes for different folks.

They still make Zima. The bomb if you drop a Jolly Rancher candy in it and let that flavor fizz out.

Now that I've digressed... :)

I always order my Pepsi w/ lemon when I go out. I don't do Coke. I was looking forward to trying the new Pepsi Twist. Yall got a sista scurred.

All ya'll must be drinking silly syrup or smoking humor herb :D ! I just finished a Pepsi Twist while reading this thread and it was GRRREEAATTT!!! Now that Code Red Mountain Dew has a horrendous taste and I heard it makes men have small peters just like its citrus flavored big brother :eek: .

I haven't tried Pepsi Twist, but I do like the Red Mountain Dew. That Melon flavored Mello Yello is N-A-S-T-Y!:eek:

I tried the Red Mountain Dew and it quenched my thirst at the time...I can't really say if I liked it or not...I was just thirsty at the time.

But ya'll got me scared about trying to Pepsi Twist :eek:

I was in the supermarket this evening and while in the beverage aisle, I noticed a couple choosing a bottle of soda. "Why don't we try this new Pepsi dear?" the man said to his wife as he reached for a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi Twist.
As if I were the "dear" he was referring to I replied, "Oh no you don't wanna taste that nasty stuff" http://www.plauder-smilies.de/nono.gif

well i guess i am in the minority :D . i thought it wasn't that bad. it actually cut the the strength of pepsi. but it isn't something that i will drink often though since i am suppose to not be drinking any caffeine :rolleyes: .

I haven't tried the Pepsi w/lemom yet. But I am a Dew drinker and I like the RED Mountain Dew.

Now, that Zima is just NAAAASSSSTTTEEEEE! I have tried it with Jolly Ranchers, Starburst, and any other kind of candy and I still don't like it. It just doesn't taste like anything to me

I like the Pepsi w/ lemon twist. Actually, I have only tried the Diet Pepsi w/ lemon twist, but it was good to me. So now, depending on my mood I may get Pepsi One or Diet Pepsi w/ the lemon twist.

Yeah, you haven't heard !?!:eek: It is rumored to decrease all things sexual in men and I think it's true. It actually happened to my uncle's goat when I used him as a guinea pig :D . Yep, goat research... you just can't beat it :D !

I really don't know what the makers of Pepsi are feeling or going through. I have one word for the new Pepsi twist.....YUCK!!!:rolleyes:

I'm not a soda person......but if need be.... I will drink a coke or mountain dew.....

I have tasted the new coke with lemon and I likes , I likes!!!!!
I also like the new Mountain Dew ...Code Red.

Now Pepsi & coffee.....Uh dun't tink so.....I wonder what demographic group this is marketed towards......????? :confused:

LOL. My linesister says the Pepsi twists is nasty, but I don't drink dark sodas, so I'll take everyone's word for it. I only drink Mountain Dew or any other flavored soda. I looooove the Code Red, though...so, whuuuuuuutever Code Red Haters!!
