Thinking about joining a frat HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS

1. If I do get a bid and decide to pledge would the pledging process hurt my academic work (fall rush), or is this different frat to frat, school to school.

2. What are some big points you notice pledges miss or dont learn.

3. Do frats help career wise/academic wise.

4. I know frats have huge philanthropic work, what else do frats do people dont notice?

5. What are some true/false stereotypes ?

6. How are the girls in sororities, they bitchy? They two faced?

7. Any negatives to joining frats?

8. DONT GET BUTTHURT, but really... Do people in frats care how you look? I have a young complexion, im a normal human being (fuck you dubaisis) other than that everything is good.

5-I have no ability to time manage myself and can't say no (see questions 1 and 2). Is this going to be a problem?

I'm sure you're intelligent enough to ask about fraternity life without asking about "fucking bitches and getting wasted."

Hey guys im a social cripple, Im going to Uc Boulder this fall and I'm seriously debating joining a frat. Ive met with people from ZBT and they were really cool but I have a few questions.

- I went to a ZBT party and I felt lost, the downstairs was just people grinding and upstairs were just people I never knew, I just walked around aimlessly and felt out of place.
`Question 1: If I join a frat will these parties feel more easy to be around?

- im a social cripple, does this matter?

- Are all girls the same?

- Does being a social cripple help?

- I do like partying but will the partying/pledging get in the way of my academic life? Will my social retardation help?

Probably yes because the guys will be your friends.

- im a social cripple, does this matter? It's going to make getting offered a bid much harder. But hey, who knows? It should help you get over some of it by seeing others behave appropriately for the situation.

Statistics say the semester you join a fraternity your grades are affected somewhat. You have to work harder to maintain good grades. You are in college for your education first and foremost, and you are allowed to say no to ridiculous behavior.

If you're really that unaware of Greek life, browse the "Fraternity Recruitment" forum before posting questions. You're coming off very naive, and I doubt anyone will help you with the way you're currently coming off.
