I'm from the "old school" and in the late 70's and early to mid-80's, you had REAL bands and singers. There ARE a FEW exceptions nowadays (like Jill Scott, Joe, Angie Stone, and others), but not very many people can really sing these days.

well, regina belle just released a brand new album on October 23rd. the lead single is a tight song called "oooh boy." i haven't heard any other songs, but i'm really loving that one right now.

they just released a song as well. the album drops on December 18th.
