2001- The Year in Review
 

As we wind down the year 2001, would you care to share your highest and lowest aspects of this year? Were there any significant changes that occurred this year?

What do you expect or look forward to in the New Year?

Highest: reuniting with my boyfriend

Lowest: 9/11; I know I keep talking about it, but I STILL can't believe it REALLY happened. This has been like a bad nightmare that you can't wake up from. And the tripped out thing is, it didn't affect me personally, but not a day goes by that I don't think about it in some capacity.

Highest: Getting married

Lowest: There really hasn't been a low point for me on a personal level. I've just been blessed.

Highest - Getting into law school
Lowest - Losing 4 friends at the WTC, only blocks away from my school. Makes me feel lucky and yet scares the shit out of me.

WELL
 

Highest: Advancing further in my radio career

Lowest: HAVING NO CLUE THAT AKATUDE GOT MARRIED! WTF????
I am so in the dark! lol!

I'm sorry. My wedding was May 26th.

HIGHEST: Moving in my first apartment
LOWEST: An altercation back in April that happened with someone very close to me. We have been slowly reconciling since then and now things are almost better than they were before :) It was a time that I thought we would not make it through but we are.

My highest point was getting married....yippee!!

My lowest point was not graduating, c'est la vie.

HIGHEST: Getting a 4.0 for the Spring 2001 semester
LOWEST: I haven't really had any lows, this year has been good to me. :)

HIGHEST: Getting engaged

LOWEST: The death of my ex-boyfriend and finding out 1 month after the funeral :( :( :(

High Point -- Graduating from Vandy Law and Passing the Bar

Low Point -- (let me think about this one)

low point: realizing that I had been getting SHAFTED in my pay (I've been w/ the company since July 2000)

high point: getting my back pay AND a big fat, HUGE raise on top of it!

The highest aspects of 2001: Getting married and becoming a member of Alllpha Kappa Alllpha Sorority Inc.:D :D

The lowest aspects of 2001: The attack on America Sept. 11,2001:( :mad:

Low Point: Not graduating on time (May 2001)
High Point: My graduation (December 2001), getting a PERMANENT teaching position 2 weeks before the school district implemented a hiring freeze, and my engagement.
Someone was definitely praying for me :D :D :D

In 2002, I am looking forward to hopefully purchasing a condo or a townhouse.

2 High Points:
1. Becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated!
2. Finding and getting to know my birth mother.

Low Point:
1. Being laid off of my job (but we fall down and get back up...I found an even better job, plus got 5 months severence pay!!!)

High Points:
1. On Oct 28, 2001 became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
2. Recently purchased my first new car.

Sad to say , but I had several Low Points, but I'll only mention one :(
1. The sudden death of my best friend's mother

High points:

2001.. I have been blesed
 

2001 one for me was definitely a great year. I finally got up ehough confidence to leave a job I was unhappy at, I became a member of the greatest sorority, I was married in September, and I conitinue to have my health and so do all those around me. I excelled in school, have a great job. I truly have been blessed. I hope 2002 is as good as this!

Since the year is nt officially over this is not a official list-

High Point- My new job :D

Low Points-The death of Aaliyah (RIP BABYGIRL), 9-11, being beyond broke

Most memorable moment- I will never forget the President's face when his aide informed of the attacks. He aged like 30 years before my eyes:(
