Convention 2012
 

This year it is in Jacksonville, FL June 20th-June 24th.

Is anyone going?
I am and I am so excited, I have never been to convention before!

I will be there but will have to leave Saturday a.m. to go to my nephew's wedding. Hope to meet you!

Sadly, I'll be studying for the bar exam :(

Question though, is there a schedule? and if so, is it on the website? because I couldn't find one, but if it is on the website, I will keep searching :P

There is an abbreviated schedule on the Kappa website. Click on the "Convention 2012 Materials" section on the front page. Go to "Materials" (2nd link at the bottom of the blue box) and then look under "Convention Registration Information" (2nd section). Go to "General Membership Information" (4th link). Go to "Forms in Word" and then click on the last link which is "Convention Program (abbreviated version)" to download it. If you are a delegate or need information other than that for a general attendee, you can find those links on these pages as well.

I really want to go to a Convention. Maybe I can save enough money by 2014. I hope you ladies have fun!

Maybe they can plan one near you so it wouldn't be that expensive. ;)

Just got home from convention, I had SUCH a fun day! I am going again on Saturday :)

OH and I have an all new respect for Keepers of the Key! I lost my badge and was almost in tears (especially considering I haven't even had it for an entire year :rolleyes: ) BUT one of my chapter's advisers found it and gave it back to me. I have now learned the importance of a bubble guard. :P

I lost an earring--it wasn't found at Convention, so I'll have to check my luggage.

I found a badge and a dangle (maybe Panhellenic?). I turned it in, so I hope they are returned to their owner(s).

I am sure it will be! Kappa Concierge was pretty good about getting people's numbers when they lost their key.

I misplaced my badge twice at convention, each time I completely freaked out. I had the bubble guard since I first got my badge but never knew what it was for until now.

Haha, mine fell off during lunch, and I didn't notice until someone asked to look at the back of it in a workshop. I had a bit of a panic attack.

Where is the 2014 Convention?
