hee hee, no height requirement, since im like 5'2 and majority of guys loom over me. Has to be SILLY (Sense of humor is a sexy attribute), financially stable, educated (can hold an intellectual conversation), well-mannered, must love sports or be semi athletic, likes to go out evening or sometimes hang out, sensitive, honest (trustworthty), ambitious, and someone who is real. We all mess up, its not a big deal. Just have a good head on.

Oh, it doesnt hurt if they're a good dancer either :)

I forgot good hygeine - clean hands and nails, clean cut business casual type... short hair...manners is a huge thing...that includes table manners...my pet peeve is a someone who eats with their mouth open and makes all those weird piggy noises :o - Also a guy with a lot of girl friends...has close relationships with the women in his life (related or unrelated)...a guy who treats the women in his family & social surrounding with respect will treat you with respect too!

Well, my ideal man is actually the one I have right now :) , but in any case...

above 5'6", my age or older, non-smoker, intelligent, makes me laugh, has direction in his life, treats me with respect, holds my hand in public, is not relationship-phobic, and makes me feel like I am a top priority.

i used to have a height requirement..not really so much anymore, has to be smart, funny, easy to talk to, similar tastes in movies & music, never been married, can't have kids, has to be under the age of 25(those are my recent additions to the requirements :) ), and if he's jewish it can't hurt(hmm..i just described dj perfectly..hmm)

would at least be taller than me and at least my age. would have short hair (i am not a hair fan, which means no chest hair either). intelligent, funny (love a guy who can make me laugh), has a sweet side (does all those little things that most guys think are stupid), active (would be involved in dirt bike racing, a certain sport, or something fun and exiciting that i could go watch him do and cheer for him for), would have to own a street bike (crotch rocket...no big huge harleys or anything) that we could ride all the time, and i would want him to be financially stable (don't want a guy mooching money off of me all the time). he would need to make me feel like i was something special and would respect me as a person.

i know this seems like a lot of stuff...but that would be my IDEAL man

Has to be funny

Has to have a job, I mean career...

Has a car, Yukon in a perfect world!

Has to treat his Mother well

Has to know where Tiffany's is located and likes the idea of spending many months of his salary on big diamonds...

Has to be cute, not drop dead, but cute...

Has to be social...don't have to worry about him at a party

Has to have all his teeth....none of which are gold/platnium

KA, Sigma Chi, PKA....would be nice!

Has to like the idea of family, but not so much that he still lives at home!

Has to know when we marry his dating life is over, happened to my sister, it wasn't pretty!

Has to like pictures, I travel with film and he cannot be camara shy...

Has to get along with my friends

Alright, i'm not buyin it, none of you, except one, made a big deal about the ideal guy being in great shape. My guess is either a) ya don't want to seem shallow or b) ya aren't being straight up. Even if it is not a big deal, women (at least the one's I've spoken with) ALWAYS mention a healthy body as part of an ideal man. From personal experience in viewing myself both physcially and mentally, a healthy body equals a healthy mind, for both men and women. Women (again, the ones i know) are very in tune to the relationship between a man's fitness and his overall disposition. Nevermind the biological advantages a fit guy has over the beer gut dude, humans are BUILT to be drawn to visual appeal, its in the DNA baby!;)

I was being straight up - I dont look for guys who are in GREAT shape..mainly because I dont want a guy to overlook me because of my shape. I agree that looks totally matter, but in the end, personality wins out. I would rather be with an average looking guy with an awesome sense of humor and intelligence than a stud with a hot body that was full of himself! :D

I put average build because I don't a want a skinny, whimpy man and I don't want a man who is too big either.

I don't want a fat man but if they are a puggy I don't mind at all, I am thin, but am blessed with a good metabolism-but if you ask me to exercise I could do that for about 10 minutes and then pass out. I HATE to exercise and I don't want to date a guy that is obsessed over going to the gym or about how much wt. he lifts per day and I don't want him questioning my fitness.

BTW I like:

brown eyes

I could care less if he is rich or if he is a janitor just that he loves me and has had some type of job (I have had too many moochers)

he must not live at home with momma (have had too many of these)

I pretty much have my ideal.....here are my requirements (I won't tell which he has and which he lacks but he doesn't lack much)

Taller than me....(I'm 5'8) but not too tall.
Not too skinny or gangly, I like some muscle but not one of those steroid freaks.
Preppy boy/executive dresser type.
Mentally stable!!!! (I have dated some certifiable lunatics)
Tough and strong enough to protect and defend me (though I can usually take care of myself....remind me to tell the oh so embarrasing fight story sometime....)
Very comfy financially
NOT a tightwad
NOT too jealous or possessive, but jealous enough to make me feel good
A sexual virtuoso (but not a former pig....in other words if he can't remember the names of everyone he's slept with or the number is higher than his age, BUH-BYE!) I have found that the more partners they have had, the lousier they are in the sack....
A sexual adventurer....(gotta be open minded because I'm the try it all once type)
Class and couth
Dark hair, not too short and not too long, gotta be conservative
Great teeth/smile
Goatee ok but must be neatly clipped/shaved
Not a big fan of back hair

Can't think of much else. Has to be my friend as well as my lover. We need to have some laughs. Has to appreciate my raunchy humor and my guy's girl attributes. Has to share Playboy with me.
Lets me play with my hair and makeup without getting all pissy about the changes....

I don't want a man in great shape either.... they're nice to look at, but when it comes down to it, I want something to hold onto at night :) I'm all about the cuddling....

Also, he needs a great sense of humor, not afraid to be a complete goofball with me and not make me feel dumb when I act like a complete goofball, hate mushrooms, hate the Yankees and the Steelers, love to eat, like outdoorsy stuff but also be perfectly happy to spend the day in bed, like children- no, scratch that, LOVE children (there's nothing sexier than a guy who likes and is good with kids), not own anything Prada, someone who drops the forehead kiss, likes dogs better than cats, knows Pablo Neruda, especially Sonnet XVII, familiar with a wide range of literature, know how to change the oil in my car, loves his family, loves my family, will take me dancing, knows something about wine, has a great smile, loves old movies, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink rum when he knows we'll be making out later, likes freckles and red hair, respects me, thinks I'm gorgeous, wants to kiss me and love me and marry me!

My ideal man is someone 6'0 or taller( I like the 5'10 guys too) athletic, has to want to go out and do stuff whether it's going to the park to play catch or run or whatever(As you can see I am a big sports goof) A guy who has a great sense of humor, I mean it's when you share the inside jokes that have you die laughing. Smart, has to be able to hold a decent conversation and not be afraid to tell you he's not all that knowledgable in every area.
Eyes I don't really care what color, but some blues and greens make me swoon and so do big brown eyes.
Build is really anything from the average Ben affleck build to the football, baseball, soccer, lacrosse player build( told ya all about the sports)
Hair color I don't care, but the short cut is cute, nothing long though.
Sensitive, nice caring, has goals dreams and aspirations.
Clothes wise, as long as his clothes the neat, clean cut look and thats really any style it's just how you work it.
A good cologne smelling guy, Imean I am talking Ralph Lauren Romance, or CK or whatever something emm nice.
Easy to talk with, easy to be goofy around, easy to chill with.
No baby , ex, jail drama, can't handle it, ( No instant family Mixes)
A guy who is a gentleman, and remembers his pleases and thankyous
Is not conceited but knows he has it going on and is just a chill person, you know the one we all know and love kinda guy.

.... The fact that they are so lousy in bed probably explains why they have had so many partners... If you can't do it right the first time, why bother coming back for more?;)

I agree, the shape issue isn't a big deal.

Don't get me wrong, guys in great shape are great, but I would rather have a guy who doesn't think a day off of work is fun if we spend it in the gym! I dated a trialthete, it wasn't pretty...he would wake up at 5:00a.m. to go run/swim/bike and I would tell him to bring me breakfast back!

Average to pudgy...not too skinny...not so big he will be on the Springer Show getting cut out of the house...

All in all, average...cute, but average!

I have my perfect man right now... but I'll tell you about him anyways...
The perfect man for me has to be over 6'0, has to have nice cheekbones and HAS to have blonde hair. (I love guys with naturally blonde hair :)

I also like guys who dress casual (khakis and polos) in their free time. Oh... and I love guys who played football in high school. But Something about football uniforms get me all the time :)
But I don't want some meathead who is only into sports... I need a guys with presonality.
And when it comes to personality all I need is my boyfriend. He is always there for me when I need him and I know I can trust him with anything. We can joke together, cry together, and finish eachothers sentences. I would trust him with my life, and I know he would trust me with his. :)
