Yea! I love recruitment! I have already sent in recs, which is always so much fun.

Maryland does formal recruitment in the spring but the scheduled times for informal are 9/9/2011 to 9/16/2011.

Beta Beta has scheduled recruitment for September 6th - September 16th. I'll keep you updated on how it goes!

I sent in rec letters already to other chapters, but not my own yet. :( It's mostly because 1,000 miles away. I keep hoping I'll find a girl who is headed out there, but I haven't yet.

Sorry for intruding, but I just met some girls from the FAU colony at Clubfest, and they were great girls, I'm sure they'll do great.

I'm so glad to hear that! They are our newest colony and I'm exciting to hear they already out and about.

I gave my info to them, although they weren't sure if I was eligible (since I'm a math major and not engineering), but we'll see. :)

Beta Chapter got 8 New Candidates!

yesterday was pref night and today is the day for handing out bids... and we got 11 new babies. :)

Absolutely! Also, you want to make sure you don't put a pic up online with any ritual pieces in it. We've had that happen before.

Congrats again on your new member class. Did you get a little?

We are in the midst of Big/Little week now. Our sorority seems to do things differently--bigs always come from the previous year's class except in special cases (dead line, co-op), and littles are divided up among them evenly and twins are given to the smaller lines. I think it is so that we can make sure that we rebuild some of our dying lines so we don't end up with just a single line. It is my turn for a little though, and I'm super excited to make gifts! She has already figured me out though :)

That's awesome! I had three littles and I was excited every time. I always wished we did a week of big little. We reveal the bigs right after Candidate Initiation.

I'm blanking out but what chapter/where's UAB? I can only think UAlabama - Birmingham and we don't have a chapter there (?)

oh.... here's where UAB was mentioned. :) It's our chapter at Binghamton University.

Gamma Chapter added 12 new members in Spring, bringing their total to 26 for the year!

Other chapters are currently in the process of recruitment. :D

That's what I heard too! What a great spring recruitment! Also, I think they extended only 14 bids.... which is an awesome return rate. :D
