What ever happened to Skeephi.com?
 

Whatever happened to this web site? I've been getting a Microsoft-related site whenever I try to log on during the past few months...anybody know what the deal?

I go there to read as the sands burn and am on the list serv for the saop (is that an addict or what?). The websites managers said they experienced some sort of techincal drama witht heir server, etc. and are trying to get it back up but do not know when that will happen. That is what I have been told about it.

I remember when they did the Skee-Phi As The Sands Burn contest. The flurry of viewers shut it down. Maybe when we all went for the finale we did it again:confused:

We still don't know what the heck happened to this site, do we??

I meant the site itself- with DOP and ADOP and Crooky, etc.

ATSB was nice but I liked the whole site. What happened to it? ANyone know?

From my understanding Bet.com and skeephi had different versions of ATSB. When Skeephi was up and running, I use to read both of them b/c Skeephi would talk about only half of the characters, and Bet would talk about the other half.

As i was doing research on skeephi.com,(cause ya know i like to get to the bottom of things) I ran into this post on the bet message board. I figured out a way to email, ADOP (the writer of As the sands burn)hopefully he will respond. :D And this was posted yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what I was thinkng! The picnic is usually a lot of fun, even last year when it rained I had fun with Sorors and Frat. I don't know that I will go this year, but I hope they have it.

What is skeephi.com? I mean I have a clue by the name but what exactly is it. I don't watch alot of tv and I don't own a computer(this is my roommates) so please enlighten me.

ATSB...the early years
 

I was only able to read a few episodes of ATSB. Before the site re-launches, I was hoping to read the first episodes (all the way through to the Season Finale) so that I would not be in the dark about things. I went to the BET website, but they only have episodes dating back to November of last year.
Is there anywhere I can get access to the early episodes?

Hmmm... I don't know of any. And I understand your dilema. I just started reading it last spring and, at that time, you could read all the old episodes on BET and skeephi. Unless you get the ADoP(who writes it) to send them to you I don't think there is any place to access them. I'll try and double check that for you though.

I finally kicked the tv soap habit only to develop a web based habit:eek: !

Anyway. skeephi, is a website, that hosts information, for aphia and aka members. on there, there is a soap opera about greek life called as the sands burn, which involves members of all greek orgs, but mainly focuses on aka, and aphia. It's not up and running now, but it will relaunch on 06-08-02. And you can be up dated on the soap, and the events, the nalia, that skeephi host.
