Just saw on Facebook that Zeta Xi (Auburn Univ) gave out 68 bids, 62 was quota. Congrats to Zeta Xi and all of their hard work!

Just read on Facebook that chapter total is 188 and they are about 10 over total. Almost 200 member.

Hi Amanda! Here are some updates for chapters in the upper Midwest:

Kappa @ University Of Illinois: Recruitment is September 9-19
Beta Epsilon @ Monmouth College: Bid Day is now August 27, so August 24-27 are the most accurate dates
Beta Psi @ Carroll University: Recruitment is September 12-15
Delta Alpha @ University Of Wisconsin-LaCrosse: Informal recruitment only
Delta Delta @ Northern Michigan University: Recruitment is September 12-17
Epsilon Alpha @ University Of Wisconsin-Eau Claire: Bid Day has been rescheduled to September 24, so September 18-24 are the most accurate dates
Theta Epsilon @ Marquette: Their formal recruitment is in January. Unless something has changed in recent weeks, I don't believe they hold any kind of structured recruitment in October, especially since all chapters tend to be over total going into the fall semester
Theta Eta @ Western Michigan University: Recruitment is September 21-25
Theta Tau @ Marian University: Recruitment is October 2-8
DePaul University: We are participating in formal recruitment, which starts on September 13 (I don't know the end date)

Per a facebook update Theta Sigma chapter (UCF) received 62 new members.

Per FB, Gamma Delta got 30 new members. I haven't heard what quota was yet.

Rho got 40...at least that's the scoop so far. If someone knows something different, let me know. Not sure about quota. Looks like according to the NPC thread that chapters set their own quota?

Bid day for Kansas State (Alpha Kappa chapter) was Friday 8/19 .. has anyone heard how they did?

FORMAL SORORITY RECRUITMENT DATES, FALL 2011:

August 26 & 27, 2011 - Open Houses
August 28, 2011 - 1st Invitational Round
September 4, 2011 - 2nd Invitational Round
September 5, 2011 - Preference
September 6, 2011 - Bid Distribution/Bid Night

According to Facebook they got 47 new members.

So even with the addition of ZTA they still are having pretty sizeable pledge classes. I wonder what their ideal size is... I know some AK alums. I guess I'll have to ask that question!

GA Tech (Gamma Eta) quota was 44, and AXiD got 46.

Jacksonville State took 25. Not sure what Quota was, but I think they were very close, if not at or over.

UAB took Quota plus 2 for for 26 new AXiDs :)

It is so great to see the chapter come back strong after the revitalization. Even without a house they are doing so wonderful.

Theta Xi - FIU got 60 New Members

Off topic a moment, I met an Alpha Xi today! She's young enough to be my daughter (she in fact is the daughter of a friend of mine), but we still have that connection. I told her we can start our own Alumnae chapter now. HA! A chapter of 2 with 25 years between us in age might be a little strained.

Sigma got 38 new gals. Woot! Quota was 34 and 11 of 14 chapters on campus are now at total. I'm on the lookout for more information.

University of St Louis got 12
Boise State (according to my counting of a picture on Facebook) got 23
