Your Top 5 Seduction songs...

I know, more music, but this one has a point dammit! These are songs that you would use to either a) seduce or b) put on for ambiance when you get to your..ahem...business...
Mine are

Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing
Enigma - Principles of Lust
DMB - #41/Say Goodbye
Type O Negative - Love you to Death (not as morbid as it seems)
Incubus - Stellar (listen to the lyrics and you'll know what i mean)
;)

AlphaChiS2K 11-17-2001 02:08 PM

-anything slow by Janet Jackson
-anything by Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, or Etta James
-Chris Isaak, "Wicked Game"
-Lifehouse, "Breathing"
-Tracy Chapman, "The Promise"

Dejajeva 11-17-2001 03:20 PM

Hmm, good question.

I always thought Enigma's Return to Innocence was sexy in it's own way..lol

1. Alright, don't laugh if you know who these people are..but it's seriously evil and incredibly seductive. lol

Cradle of Filth- Graveyard by Moonlight

2. Mandy Moore- Saturate Me

3. Again, don't laugh. Alanis Morrisette- Uninvited. The beat and music is seriously eerie and sexual. lol
(Oh god I'm morbid. lmao)

4. Fiona Apple- Criminal

5. Mono- Life in Mono I don't know how many people know who mono is.

:)

I forgot about Boyz II Men-loved them, and what great harmony.

Tom, you old romantic, weren't those Righteous Bros. too good-
and Gary Pucket and the Union Gap! How about dancing to House of the Rising Sun and When a Man Loves a Woman?
Sorry to disrupt the thread. Tom and Delt Alum bring out my nostalgic side.

TriSigmaTX 02-18-2002 12:20 AM

Toni Tony Tone
I never even listened to them, but as soon as Eric put it on, we'd be making out.

DeltAlum 02-18-2002 02:28 AM

Guess I didn't see this one first time around.

Being me, I have to look back to the fifties and sixties:

Sleep Walk -- Santo & Johnny and a wailing Fender Stratocaster.

Ebb Tide -- Righteous Brothers -- close tie with You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'

Endless Summer Nights -- Richard Marks -- Memories of making out late at night on the river bank.

God Only Knows -- The Beachboys -- John Lennon allegedly called this the greatest love song ever written.

When I Fall In Love -- The Lettermen -- Early sixties back seat music.

Runners up: (I'm older, so I've heard a lot more music)

Stranger on the Shore -- Mr. Aker Bilk -- Great Sax instrumental

Town Without Pity -- Gene Pitney -- Prototypical teen romance song

My True Story -- The Jive Five -- What a great slow dance song.

Only You -- The Platters -- And just about anything else they did.

Take Five -- The Dave Brubeck Quartet -- Great Jazz instrumental

Not seduction, but great love songs by Gary Puckett, The Association and Simon And Garfunkle.

Now, the older generation has been heard from.
