Anywho, I have to admit that I'm not a big NBA follower...but this Bulls playoff run has got me SO excited because it brings back some fond memories of my childhood. I heart the 90s.

I think I need to find some 3-peat (and repeat the 3-peat) swag and a starter jacket...

Not as awesome as if my Baylor Bears bball team had been placed in any tournament after the NCAA screwed us over after the PJIII incident...but it's something. /grumble

As a native Texan, and one who suffered through the horrible 90s Mavs teams (Three Js, anyone?), who suffered through 2006 finals, who has suffered through their miserable playoff runs the past few year, well.. I am sports crying right now. So excited!

And I <3 Dirk. So excited for him. He is such a great guy who has been great for the city of Dallas.

I'll probably be up all night between NBAtv and the Dallas sports radio station streaming on the laptop.

ETA: and despite knowing this thread was here, I intentionally stayed away until now. I learned in 2006 to never get overconfident. Still can't believe it happened, and that it happened to the evil Heat makes it all the sweeter!

ETAA: And Thank GOd that Laura Miller is no longer mayor of Dallas. Even if K_S is the only one who gets that reference.

What a great series! So glad that tonight was not the "heart attack" nail biter that the other games have been.

Congrats to the Mavs. Obviously, I'm a Thunder fan, but the Mavs were just dominate this year.

Also, I'm glad to see the Heat lose.
