That would be a snooze fest... :cool:

...unlike VH1's new show "Mob Wives." It looks really really really really dumb. I guess people don't have enough of the reality show wives theme.

Basketball Wives (nothing more to see now that Evelyn got her ass snatched)
Football Wives (cancelled because they don't cuss and fuss enough)
Love and Hip Hop (I like this show)
Real Housewives of (insert place)
Sister Wives (LOL, same title but different theme, I know)

The world didn't need another show about "wives" who (because of producers, appear to) have too much free time on their hands and don't shut the hell up. Bickering women stopped being "reality" or remotely funny a long time ago--except for Tammi snatching Evelyn.

What say you, GCers? Will you be watching "Mob Wives?" Are you part of the cast of "Mob Wives?" :eek:

Some of the RHNJ would love for us to believe they are mob wives. LOL.

Of course, real mob wives probably wouldn't participate in a reality show. Doh!

When I first saw the title of this thread I was like...aw hell to the naw!:D But yeah, these "wives" shows are getting ridiculous; however, I have to say that I like "Love and Hip Hop" and is it me or do the women on "Mob Wives" look like dudes??? Oh and if your family is really involved with the Mob, why would you want to be on T.V.? Just saying.

I have to agree with thinking, "For real?" DrPhil tricked me into thinking there was going to actually be a show called Fraternity Wives. It wouldn't be shocking considering women are getting famous on the accomplishments of their husbands-why not a fraternity wife? I'm shocked VH1 hasn't picked up on the idea, lol.

VH1 better not pick up on that idea. :D

will anyone admit to watching this? i did... up until maybe the last 5 or 10 minutes.

those ladies look like they've been through a lot. when the bday chick said she was 35 i had to change the channel!

I just watched it right now (working from home). It was background noise until I started hearing some straight foolishness, and when those hands went around the neck I was too through. Man they are broke down.

I watched it. I didn't like it.

Some of them do look old. Rough living, drinking, smoking, plastic surgery, tanning, weaves, and too much makeup will do that.

They are really mob wives and daughters. I still think it's stupid that they would be on a reality show. They are sharing too much information as it is and this show seems to be celebrating mobster living. This is a combination of Real Housewives and The Sopranos.

I think it is horrendous that they are trying to make the mob culture appear glitsy and glamorous. Stupid.

I love VH1 reality shows. I love laughing at people who make fools of themselves on national TV.

I'll probably watch it if I have the time. It's definitely not a priority like Bad Girls Club.

I like Love & Hip-Hop too! Mob Wives not so much...

I was thinking the same thing but then I'm sure the Feds already know the info they're sharing and more, but this is a trip! What's next? "Dope Dealer Baby Mommas"?

My favorite part of the last Mob Wives episode was the club scene. LOL. She said "hold on, let me handle this bitch for a minute." I love it.

I know, right. For a minute there I thought I was in the hood.

And when she put her finger up, the other one said "doooon't...dooooon't!!"

I had to laugh.

Exactly what I came in here to say. I saw a billboard ad for it on the subway and their faces were definitely strong. Plus... no one cares about their lives.

I am watching the first episode again.

I appreciate the backstory and what these women are going through because of crime and mafia involvement. I just wish they weren't trying to go the "Real Housewives" route. This would work best as a documentary of sorts rather than a reality tv show.

And I'm really just obsessed with the opening scene of them walking and the Rock Mafia "Big Bang" theme song. I love this song. It works together perfectly with the show.

I, for one, would love to see a catfight between Renee Graziano and Dionne Warwick.

Whew! That was a good damn fight! I wish there were more punches than hair pulling, but it was entertaining enough.

I hate when they pretend that they planned a peaceful event that just so happened to turned brutal. Riiiiiight.

Someone asked me the other day why these shows and youtube videos are so obsessed with bickering women and fighting women. That's because aggression in women is viewed and received differently than aggression in men.

Anyone still watching this? I can't tolerate a full episode anymore. Why is whats-her-name shocked that people don't want to read her book because of who her thug daddy is?

I'm going to just stick with "Single Ladies" and wait for "Love & Hip Hop" to come back. They better not turn "Single Ladies" and "Love & Hip Hop" into boxing matches.

Anyone watching the new season? I find new cast member "Big Ang" stunning. (I mean stunning in the sense of being kicked in the head by a horse.)
