Hi. Sarah, Jeannine, Nina, Lynn, I saw all yall on the new site. I have'nt been able to reply cause I did not know I would have to maximize the window. The blinking is also driving me nuts!!! Anyway, I've got it figured out now. I'll keep looking for all of yall there!!! Hope to actually "talk" to yall soon! Take care, Lisa

I say we all set up a time when most peolple are at home in the (evenings/days if we do it at work) to chat on the agd chat room.

Something like, Wed. nights from 8:00-8:30.
Before the undergrads go to their outings, after dinner and after work!
Weekends probably would not work, probably weeknights we could catch a lot of people.

Let's start making a time and setting up dates, like every other week or at least once a month.

That would be fun!

I wish IHQ upgraded to a better chatroom. That blinking is just too much!

I think that's a great idea. Maybe one of you ladies can talk me through how to work the thing. :)

Nina, how're you feeling, girl? Does your cheek look like you're storing nuts for the winter, little squirrel?

My cheeks seemed to be filled with nuts yesterday after I had to chomp down on gauze for 30 mins. I wasn't put to sleep and the whole procedure took about 20 mins.

Unfortunately, my mom had to run a few errands after that, so I must have looked quite stupid with my mouth half open. lol

It's much better now lol.

whoops, I forgot. This is an "odd" week- being home and all.

First of all, HAPPY TURKEY DAY to all of my American sisters!! Up here in the great wet north, we celebrate it back at the beginning of October ... us Canadians like to do things a little differently :cool:

Next up, just wondering when your next 'chat' is planned for?? With just over a week of classes & then finals, school is absolutely CRAZY right now so I am definitely looking for some creative & fun ways to procrastinate ... chatting with you all would definitely qualify! :D BTW - I am here on the west coast & run on PST - 3 hours behind EST.

As I mentioned, school is too crazy these days - gotta love that end of semester crunch time ... yay! only one more semester & I'll F I N A L L Y be graduating (let's just say it's taken me a LONG time - think Dawber from "Coach" kind of time!!)

Well, it's back to paper writing for me ... enjoy this bountiful day with those you love :) gobble gobble ...

So after I wrote that message, I failed in my duties and did not check the message board for a while (even if it was an odd week!)

It seems that almost everyone can do it on Wed. evenings, and since 8 EDT is a tough time for those on the other side of the continent, then I say let's try 8:30 EDT.

I will check this board on Tues. afternoon and then we can get a head count for that time. We will first try the AGD site and if this becomes a real problem with the blinking, then we can chat on this greekchat and we will just have to be better about not talking too privately about stuff. I really do hope that the AGD site should always be our first choice however, you already know why.
