As though the world needed another reality show (don't fret, Bobbi Kristina is also slated to have a show), we now have "Braxton Family Values." http://www.wetv.com/shows/braxton-family-values

It will be the Braxton's version of the Kardashian's shows.

I probably wouldn't have watched it but I definitely will try to miss it after reading this http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/w0011407.html. Another show about people's crazy families in which they spend more than they make. Yeah.

Do any of you like the Braxtons enough to see their show? :)

I could've sworn this show started last year. I remember seeing Toni on Wendy Williams talking about a reality show.

In any event -- I don't like ANY celebs enough to watch their reality shows.

Does that mean you never watched Runs' House, Russell Simmons' show, or Gene Simmons' Family Jewels? :eek: I love me some Gene Simmons and like that show. I also liked Runs' House (once he stopped being cheesy for the camera) and Russell Simmons' show. What other celebs have had shows?

My first thoughts:

1. Braxton? As in Toni or Hicks?
2. If this is anything like "Addams' Family Values," I'm protesting.

watching that show gave me a headache. i LOVE toni and like reality shows in general, but there was too much tamar for my taste. i hope the later episodes show a little more balance with the other sisters. i'm sure they have something to say, if they could get a word in edgewise!

I love the show. There have been a few episodes now and more focus on the other sisters (I know what you mean about the Tamar show). Tamar is over the top but I like all the sisters...they are hilarious! You can watch the episodes on youtube also.

I ended up watching the first 2 episodes. The theme song was nice. That's the only thing that I liked about the show.

I like Braxton Family Values. Momma Braxton got married. Trina revealed that she gave fellatio to her handsome friend from her party. Her sisters advised her not to tell her husband but she would have to tell him since there is a reality show.

Oral transaction.

I really liked the past two episodes. Evelyn is off her rocker though if she thinks she's going to be on anybody's record.

LOL. I love the way Toni deals with her younger sisters. Tamar was complaining about people being so riled up over what she says. Toni said "it wouldn't have anything to do with your mouth, huh."

I need The Braxtons to stop the botox and all of the make-up. I remember how Tony looked before the nose jobs and so forth. She was still pretty but looked different.

I agree with the advice that Toni gave Trina. I agree with what Toni told Tamar.

Trina getting a bartender's license is interesting. Doesn't she have an alcohol addiction?

I get that reality shows need characters, but Tamar needs to tone it down a bit. Her attitude is annoying as hell.

That is probably Tamar's real personality. Everything seems exaggerated when you only see one aspect of a person. I hope her personality would have more balance if we saw her during her highs and lows. LOL.

I understand the pressure of being an "extra" in the life of a celebrity sibling (Solange/Beyonce comes to mind), but why does she think she's owed the spotlight? Of course, people are going to flock to Toni. She's the damn star.

Oh, and the .com/.net/.org/point-blank-period shit is making me want to pull my (non-existent) hair out :mad:

Even if she is a better singer, Toni is the one who is famous. The Braxtons (and this show) probably wouldn't be known right now if it weren't for her.

I always knew about the Braxtons and that they were talented singers and performers. But many people are just discovering her sisters because of Braxton Family Values. The Braxtons existed before Toni Braxton was a solo singing sensation. When she made it big, they were her backup singers and in the back of some of her videos. That can breed sibling rivalry because you help someone get ahead and then you're always behind them.

On another note, I really want to wash all of that make-up off of their faces. They wear too much makeup. It makes them look old and worn.
