Also, you don't need a symbol to spell out "Pi" Everything about your posts are wrong. |
Poor naive girl.
If you know stereotypes are bull, then why do you want to know? Every single NPC sorority has a phenomonal national reputation, including AOPi. There might be stereotypes that apply just to your campus, but we have no idea what that might be. Regardless, that doesn't mean every girl in the group fits that stereotype. Your Big gives you that look for a reason. Don't be stupid about it. |

One of the many things I have learned on GC: If you really were a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. you'd know to type AOII. |
SMH

Idle thought: wonder which GLO the trollbabything will pose as a member of next. Hmm...whose turn is it?
|
I wish that fraternities had more people try to perp them on GC.
|
;) ^^^be careful what you wish for, Vito!
|
Haha I actually remember one guy tried to perp Psi U via PM. It was funny.

(for those who care, that makes two smilies I have used. Trying to overcome my fear of smilies.) |
It wasn't that big a deal. A guy PMed me and claimed that he was a Beta Beta (Trinity College) alumnus and was now living in NYC. He asked if I could get him in touch with the Delta (NYU) alumni. I said sure, but asked for his information so I could give it to them. But the entire time I was suspicious because he didn't sign his pms as a Brother even though I did. So I got in touch with IHC and they never heard of the guy. Told him and he claimed that they probably didn't get the paper work and I never heard from him again.

im just a very curious person and i was taught its "AOi" or "AOII" or even "AOPi" but you only use AOII for letters and such i really hate that you think im trollin for dirt, iim just very curious i dont want to fit the stereotype, or put it on other sisters, im just curious!

AOIIs are known for their intelligence, charm, strong sisterhood and dedication to improving their communities - just like every other NPC group.

I think your stereotype is... the dumb one. :D As for AOII, I agree with my sister-- it's a great organization!

There, that make you feel better? (those of you who know better ;) ) |
i really dont know why you all have to be so mean sorry im new to this sorry i dont know anything. but i figured yall would know the answers to my feeble question and i know you do but no one is kind enough to do so. I am a proud Alpha Omicron Pi and i love my sisters dearly so think what you want i was just curious, thank you for showing me how mean people really are!
|
is that a troll flounce?
I <3 my AOII (panhellenic)sisters. One of the very best graduate students I ever supervised was an AOII. Amazing woman. Smart and beautiful. ETA: I only belong to one GLO but I am fortunate to call many Panhellenic women "sisters". |
just everyone thinks im fake on here and it really hurts!:(
|
We're a community of usernames. It's not that serious.

Leaving aside that there rarely is such a thing as a national stereotype of an organization -- what stereotypes there may be tend to vary from campus to campus or region to region -- why in the world do you think people here would be interested in perpetuating stereotypes*? And if you love your sisters and your organization as much as you claim to, why would you want to ask anyone to perpetuate stereotypes abot them? Why would you care what any stereotypes are? Bottom line: One of the basic GC rules is that we don't do reputations/stereotypes here. Like your big (from whom you should have taken the hint), we know better. * a set of inaccurate, simplistic generalizations about a group that allows others to categorize them and treat them accordingly |

OP, it doesn't matter what other people says. If you joined the group, then it must be that you are in sync with the group and its ideals right? Don't worry about the stereotypes, they are meaningless.
