International Badge Day 2011
I searched and there wasn't a thread for this year! Monday, March 7th (Yes, tomorrow!) is International Badge Day 2011.

I'm sad that my new badge hasn't come in yet :( I'm making sure my sister-daughter is wearing hers though!! I'll probably wear letters to try and make up for it:)

Every year this falls on a day that I can't participate. :( Last year I was interviewing for my current job and this year I'll be at Disney World. I wear my badges all the time, so I'll be with you all in spirit! Happy International Badge Day tomorrow!

I still haven't gotten around to replacing mine...it's just missing a diamond and I could still wear it but the prongs where the diamond was get caught in things and I'm afraid it will get pulled off or ruin clothing. :( Maybe I'll dig around my jewelry box and try to find a lettered necklace instead.

My new badge hasn't come yet either. They shipped it to my home address (which was clearly listed as the billing address not as the shipping) :mad:.
I have three exams tomorrow, so I'm hoping my old one brings me good luck! |

Can't wait! Wearing mine in a badge holder necklace. I'm traveling tomorrow; definitely hoping to spot other badge wearers along the way.

Decided to wear mine today isnce I will be out in public. The pearl one on the chain.
At work, I usually am stuck at my desk but I may wear the plain badge again. |
I plan on wearing mine, but it'll be on the suspenders of my Carhartt coveralls. :)

My job is such that I'm not going to wear it. Kiddos might pull it off/break it/etc. The only jewelry I ever wear there is the costume kind.
I'll probably carry my Convention tote, though. |
I am just hanging with my young kids and running errands tomorrow, but will do so in pin attire so that I can participate. Some other Thetas and I have tossed around the idea of meeting for lunch so that we can all wear our badges together.

My office is very casual, so I'm not sure my badge is appropriate. I'm planning on wearing my AXiD lavalier though!

I just got my badge on Friday, so I am so excited to wear it for the first time tomorrow!

I haven't decided. I may have to do something that wouldn't allow the sharp points to be worn without hurting someone. I will most certainly try, though!

I work at a college campus with a Kappa chapter, so I'll be excited to (hopefully) see some actives wearing their pins too! :)

Planning to wear mine, but with that, I have to decide how blinged I really want to get. Do I then also wear my Order of Omega pin? And do I rock my pin from Pi Delta Phi (French Honor Society)?
Or, should I wear my pin from Order of the Triangle, leave the badge at home and call it a day? I'd love to think that some of my Panhellenic coworkers will step up. I've done some checking and in my office we have sisters from: Zeta Tau Alpha Alpha Delta Pi Gamma Phi Beta Sigma Sigma Sigma Alpha Sigma Tau Phi Mu Delta Gamma Sigma Kappa That's actually kind of impressive. |

When I lived in Nashville our little office of 6 had 2 Thetas, 2 Delta Zetas, 1 Phi Mu, and 1 Sigma Kappa, all from different schools. Too bad that we wore scrubs to work, or else we could have really rocked it on badge day! |

I love that I get to wear it again. It's been well over a year since I've had it on. I'm also sporting a new anchor necklace that I picked up in Cape Cod over the weekend :) |

I saw at least four people wearing badges during my exam this morning!

I went to the grocery store and then met a friend at panera. Didn't see any badges except for hers. Now I am home, getting ready to deep clean the house. Glamorous, I know.

I'm wearing mine! My Theta coworker said she totally forgot! But I'm impressed she knew about it at least!

Wearing mine! Quite a few badges, but Mondays are badge days for most of the Greeks here anyway.

Here in my office, it's just me and a Gamma Phi Beta who are badged and beautiful. I'd never seen one that close up, and it is really pretty.

Wore mine today! There are just three of us NPC women at my job and I was the only one who remembered.

I'm working from home today (as usual) ... But I saw in my Facebook news feed that a few of my friends who are in NPC sororities changed their profile pics to pics of their badges - so I did the same.

Wore mine today @ work. Called another Alpha Xi and she was also wearing hers. Alas, no one @ work wore their's. They lost or misplaced their badge.

Wore my 1937 pearl badge today to teach, instead of wearing my one with a ton of dangles. One of my students commented on it.
