Also, you're making an assumption that the OP is referring to NPC sororities. No one is being OMG SUPER SUPPORTIVE NO MATTER WHAT, but you also don't need to unnecessarily crush their hopes with your semantics. Take the stick out of your ass. |

I don't care if you're a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior. You can't fucking pledge a group if you're not invited to join. What part of that don't you understand? Don't be all Green Book on me, you piece of shit. |

You can't understand your own posts? Your response to "Yes, juniors are allowed to pledge" is "Maybe. Maybe not." -- you don't see how that can be seen as "In some instances, juniors are not allowed to pledge," huh? Again, take the stick out of your ass. |

Stick out of my ass? Is that the best you got? Man, today's GC mafia is really weak. |

And GC Mafia? Really? WOMP |
The OP's question was if she could join as a junior. Based on her post, she was concerned that being an upperclassmen would eliminate her as a possible candidate for membership...

Back to the OP.
Yes, juniors can go through recruitment and many are pledged. Even many of the most competitive campuses are establishing a junior quota. Enjoy your first two years at community college. Get involved, keep your grades above a 3.0 (some chapters have even higher gpa requirements depending upon the campus profile), watch what you have out there on social networks and guard your reputation. If you are going to a super competitive greek campus (usually thought to be clustered in the southern areas of the country), start now looking for women that can write a recommendation for you. If your campus is super competitive you will need a recommendation per house. I am sorry for the rudeness and foul language that appeared on the board. At least it was not directed at you, as sometimes happens. You would think that a young woman who has graduated from college and joined a sorority would have a better grasp of the English language as well as a sense of decorum. |

Most hilarious thread on GC of the day.

I blame knowing that on my husband. |
So, who is "CoCo" anyway? Because she appears to be a sock. She joined, jumped right into conversation with all typical GC lingo including QFPing someone. Then pulls the crazy e-stalker bullshit of the dreaded "first name drop." Claims to be in an NPC sorority, although never specific about which one - I really don't have time to go through all the posts right now, but who are you, sock?
