I am elated to announce....
 

that our adoption wait is ~almost~ over.

We have been matched with a baby girl, born in Korea. I have a legacy (fwiw)! :)

She will not be home until sometime next Fall, at just slightly over a year old. (Due to paperwork on both US and Korean government sides.)
I have just one picture of her at 6 months old, but we are hoping to get more updates and some video when our local agency visits Korea.
Big brother seems to think the concept is ok. We'll see about that when she gets home. LOL.

Your comment about big brother made me laugh. When my sister was born I was so mad at my mother that I wouldn't speak to her, or even be in the same room with her for almost a week! But I'm sure your son isn't a miserable child like I was LOL.

lol at the big brother comment. i was happy to get a little brother when mine was born but I was nervous to meet him and hid behind the curtain in the hospital. :)
Then he got annoying....lol now I kinda like him again... I guess... ;-P

Congrats :) (When my little brother was born, I was really excited about it - and then I finally realized that this was not a baby like my baby dolls and, most importantly, not mine. I pretty much completely lost all interest once I learned that he was my mom's toy instead of mine and proceeded to ignore him for years.)

Bumping- We got new pictures of our girl! She is now 8 months old, chubby as a cherub. We are still most likely not traveling to pick her up until next winter (due to government paperwork), so she will be way over a year old by the time she comes home.

I know you're counting the days :)
