I ran for national office in APO and was not slated. I ran from the floor and did not win.

Today, I was laid off my job.

Losing my job turned losing my election into a blessing. Patiently waiting to see what my job loss is a blessing for. :)

I really, really do appreciate all of you for surrounding me in positivity, even if you didn't know what was up. It's been nearly ten years that I've been on GC, and you guys never disappoint.

Thank you so much. For real.

As for APO - In SGR before any soror is taken seriously as a national candidate she has to prove herself by working her way "up the ranks". Meaning, she needed to have been successful as officers and/or committee chairs on the local and regional levels first.

Keep working with APO and your time will come.

But I wasn't. But it wasn't from lack of trying, I can tell you that. Actually, Bill's last bullet put me in a coma. A coma I was to lie in for four years. When I woke up, I went on what the movie advertisements refer to as a 'roaring rampage of revenge.' I roared. And I rampaged. And I got bloody satisfaction.

I've killed a hell of a lot of people to get to this point, but I have only one more. The last one. The one I'm driving to right now. The only one left. And when I arrive at my destination, I am gonna kill Bill.

LOL! I mean she's saying "WHOEVA SHE IS...when I catcha" followed by "I'mma beata azzzz!" I was young and impressionable when the movie came out, so unfortunately I know it nearly word for word.

Lol. I am not at 100% today.

Me either. I let someone in the door at work after hours, because I thought she was picking up one of the kids in our afterschool program. Then, I realized that's not what she wanted and, worse, that she only spoke Creole, so I was feebly trying to communicate in French using one word sentences.

So that was totally unrelated to anything in this thread... :/

One of those days.

I've been working from home for the past 2 days, so my days have consisted of Law and Order and The View. Not much else happening to make me use my brain lol
