Where would you like to see A.O.E.?
 

I got this idea after seeing the thread about expanding to Pitt.

I'd like to see more Big XII schools:
Texas A&M
Texas (i heard there was some difficulty about expanding here)
Oklahoma State

(btw if the expansion committee is thinking about it I have contacts on those campuses :D)


Where would you like to see A.O.E. expand to? (help our expansion committee get ideas :D)

Hawaii, so we can go there for convention. :)


In broad terms, I would love to see us expand further south, and away from the Midwest.

I'd also love a chapter at WVU. :)

Jess, you should contact the expansion committee and let them know you have contacts there. I am not sure of all the places the DoE is thinking of expanding (it's all very top secret :D ), but having more information is never a bad thing.

I second this. I would love to see some chapters in Florida. I have a lot of contacts in sororities at UF and FIU. Maybe I will also e-mail the DoE!

I would like to see us colonize at the following schools:

• Indiana University
• Auburn
• Georgia Institute of Technology
• Michigan
• Penn State
• Texas A&M
• University of Texas

They are schools with well-known engineering programs and a good emphasis on greek life, so I really think our Sorority would do well at these schools.

You're right: our Sigma Chapter is at Georgia Tech.

Beta Beta Chapter has been approved!

I would love to see some expansion closer to the northwest.

Specifically I really want to see University of Alberta, which a few from my chapter are going to see if we can visit sometime this year. SPD on our campus is considering making a trip there with us if possible.

Other than that I'd love to see the Sacramento colony going, and maybe get one in Washington. :)

I'd like to see Baylor and UT Arlington get chapters, but I really just want more Texas chapters. :)

Pardon the crash but I think Texas A&M University would make a great campus to have a chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon at. They have a very strong engineering program (my husband graduated with his Electrical Engineering degree from TAMU). I'd also like to see Alpha Phi recolonize there too, that's my all time Alpha Phi dream, ha! Maybe both dreams will come true!

No problem at all! I agree. I think it would be a wonderful campus to have a chapter at.

I agree 100%. It would be lovely to have a chapter there, especially since I would like to see a larger representation in Texas.

Trust me, we both do. I have a list of Texas campuses to consider on my office wall :)

I'd really like to expand our chapters South and West. Midwest has plenty, but I'll always be happy with more Big 10 Schools.
