The PH meeting I plan to attend is Feb 21st. With that said, when is an appropriate time to begin the getting letters of recommendation process? I plan to rush fall of 2011. I know I know I'm early, Ive been told that already... Just staying ahead.

I recommend reading older threads and taking the advice from your other thread. At this point, you have shared too much info about yourself and it is best that you read more than post.

I am not the only one to blame, Dr.Phil. No need to bring it up again. Ive read older threads. Ive hardly shared anything about myself to anyone. It's over and done with, theres no need to continue with it. The whole situation is really quite petty. Again, this is about my RECS not previous postings.

Well, I apoligize I wasnt meaning to come off as rude. I was just saying to stay on this topic and not bring up the previous posts since there was a whole lot of rude-ness going on from both parties.. not just mine. You mean other than your name, that you're transferring to Texas Tech in Fall 2011 and will be a 22-year-old sophomore, that you're older than the typical sophomore because you spent two years living in Europe with your family that lives in Spain, and that you've worked with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the SPCA and Habitat for Humanity in Dallas? Yeah, that's not enough for anyone at Texas Tech to have any clue which PNM you are next Fall.

Do you really not get why we've been beating "your age is a liability" into you? We don't want you to be disappointed when you have heavy cuts. We know you are "22, not dead", but that doesn't always matter to chapters in the south. You are not doing what we told you to do...making the rest of the things you can work on shine like the top of the Chrysler Building! Stop arguing with people. Stop taking offense when none is intended. Get off this site. You will be recognized if you aren't soon forgotten. Read as many threads about recruitment as you can, but do NOT post. Every question you have HAS been asked and answered before. Trust me!

Start getting your resume together now. Find as many women in sororities that you know now so that when Feb comes around, you'll know how many recs you still need from the Panhellenic women.

You guys are all a big bunch of meanies. All the poor child is looking for is someone to blow sunshine up her ass and tell her that she is going to get a bid to her first choice, regardless of the fact that she's a 22 year old trasnfer who hasn't yet discover the apostrophe key, and y'all just have to worry about a silly little thing like reality. Come on, y'all are making her think Greeks are selective or something and that maybe she should think twice about rushing.
