I tried to get in and it wouldn't let me, either. It typed in my chapter strangely. Guess its still glitching!

After I finally remembered how they had me, lol!

Guess it just takes practice!


Hint..the numerical listing on www.alphagam.net is not the numerical number for the chapter. AGnet has Gamma Tau as 104; my Quarterly has 091...

I finally got in, too! Looks really nice in there...IHQ did a very nice job. :)

UGH! That took a few tries to get in.

Hint: for your initation # (listed on your quarterly), don't type the 0's! I tried aimlessly typing 0's for my #, and it finally worked without them.

I typed the 0's and it worked, lol. Gamma Tau is 091. :confused:

it didn't work with it, worked without it...most importantly, I got in!!

I don't know why the pic is no longer up. Is it just me or does the movie not play for you gals either?? A few of my chapter and alum sisters have already said they're going to start an online petition to get it back up there! LOL!

I have a question--I'm in the process of updating my Christmas Addresses List and I was wondering if the addresses listed on the site are your most current addresses. If not, please let me know!

I checked on my chapter's collegiate information and boy is it screwed up! The "current" officers list include some names of Delta Sigmas who haven't been undergrads for the past 5 years or so!

All in all though, I didn't have a problem signing up and my info looks like it's current...so I guess we'll see how things go--but you gals are right...Katie Jolley and her staff will be super busy!

As Perm. Secretary for the Alumnae Chapter, I can probably vouch that the address that IHQ has is the most current one that THEY have which means if the sister and/or collegiate/alumnae chapter hasn't informed IHQ that the sister has moved or even died, IHQ has no idea.

The complete list of Gamma Taus that I got last spring had addresses of sisters when we were initiated a couple of decades ago.

I would say that the same thing probably holds true for the Chapter's collegiate info. All I can say is that Audra Hansen & her staff in Member Services have been terrifc in helping me straighten out 30 years worth of names, not to say that we both have correct addresses. I just gave her what I thought were correct or left them as IHQ had them. :) :)

grrrrrr ...... still no Quarterly and no one getting back to me about my member # :(. However, I know they are extremely busy, so I will again wait. 'sigh'

I know this is a total stttttrreeettchhhhh (lol) for a lot of sisters, but could you get in touch with your collegiate and/or alumnae chapter? They might keep an "easily accessible" list of sisters by initiation number.

Guess you don't keep old copies of Quarterly-s, lol.;)

Well there is another way in which you can find your initiation # besides the Quarterly and asking your chapter. I remebered that during the summer a sister and I were looking for something and we came upon our Alumnae/Membership cards, that you are suppose to get after your initiated. (we never got them, but we took them b/c they said we were suppose to get them). I remembered that the card had a number on it and tried it........Wa-lah! :D. Its my member number. So if you have the card use that....However I still WANT my Quarterly :).

This is random, but I was trying to find some AGD's were I live hopefully to start a JC or Alum Club, and I find the sister of this kid who i liked alot an AGD, and a girl I went to HS with is one also. It really is a small world :)

My LMAD card is somewhere in my "keep forever" file but I can't put my hands on it at the moment -- it has a number on it but it doubt it corresponds with the number on my Q label. I got the LMAD card in 1971 and I am sure that automated mailing systems have changed many times since then.

Each of us has several AGD numbers. You sign the roll when you're initiated (and when you pledge? does anyone remember). There's a number on the back of the badge--at least on my badge--years before your badge had your name,chapter, initiation date engraved on the back. Other NPC/IFC groups still do that.

Don't you think the new emphasis will be on "life membership," that is, you're an Alpha Gam forever. The annual contribution to keep the fraternity going is the new part, especially being overt about it. (Have all you GCers paid your alumnae dues for this year?)

You know, I've been wondering where to send in my alumna dues. I know you send them to IHQ, but to who? The Foundation? :confused:

I'm also going to be sending in a donation to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for its leadership drive. Have you girls heard about this? We're aiming to raise 5 million dollars for leadership training, new program development, etc. Its something completely different than we've ever done before. I think its a great idea that is really worthy of our support. I wish I could afford to donate more.
