For a while Modcloth had a beautiful set of angel wing earrings, and a matching necklace. Too lazy to find it though.
Also, elephants? Is that a symbol for someone? Forgive my ignorance. |

No ivy leaves ... :(
|
No :( There were some necklaces with leaves, but none of them distinctly ivy. Pretty much just generic tree leaves.

Likewise... |
Sometimes I'll go to Polyvore and type in "squirrel" (or whatever mascot) which results in everything they have linked with squirrels...I've found some cute stuff that way.

Lol psusue you are way into this haha
I gotta admit I am jealous of those w/the elephant as their symbol. I like elephants. And giraffes. I LOVE sailboats too though :) |

Some stuff I found on Urban Outfitters:
Owl: Post earring Post earring Drop earring Pin Ring Necklace Owls must be really in fashion now, they are all over the stores. Turtles: Ring Catchall Panda: Socks Anchor: Bracelet Necklace Flowers (rose, pansy, daisy) Post earring Owl, rose and Ivy leaf |
For all you Thetas who are Disney fans:
There's now a whole set of Disney pins with kites as a background to different Disney characters! We saw them all over WDW a few weeks ago. You could probably go to eBay and type in 'disney pins kites' and various sellers would pop up. |
Platter for a Panhellenic luncheon, anyone?
|
Here's a challenge.... Quills anyone? Yeah, didn't think so :(
I've looked, and the stuff that can pass for a quill that I find isn't cute. Yeah, we can do a rose, but that's generic. Yeah there's teddy bears, but I'm not 5. Sigh. |

Hopefully some of those will be agreeable to you. I really liked the first one. Makes it clear what it is, anyway. |

We have roses (which I love) and turtles, but to me Delta Zeta will always be our lamp. |

I liked the last one best. Almost all of them said "Aladdin" in their listings though. Hopefully one works for you! |
And I can't find ANYTHING with anchors...
:::Waits for psusue to take the bait and type a sentence with links that will take me to a bunch of cool anchor items::: :D |
For all of you loathing not being able to locate your symbols, I truly feel AChiO (lyre) and Phi Mu (quatrefoil) have it the worst by far. No cute cuddle animals, just some rare symbols.

And what I could find for quatrefoils. Quite a difficult shape to find, I might say. But so beautiful too. |

Dove necklace
for the Sigma Kappa's & Zeta Phi Beta girls :) Cute owl earrings :) Pretty simple key for the Kappas |
Went and searched for this the other day because I remembered there were some great finds, and thought I'd revive it with some additions.
I've found some great charms at dogeared.com for so many sorority friends. Besides the kites I posted earlier, there are sailboats (two kinds, actually), anchors, fleur de lis, keys, elephants, angel wings and arrows, doves (the URL says seagull, but it looks like a dove and came up with all the other dove stuff), skulls, crescent moons (if it's facing the wrong way, you can always wear it backwards!), ladybugs, plus a feather that some alpha xi deltas might call a quill, and a lot of other symbols that locals or families might use or some chapters might have as unofficial symbols. For those who were searching for lamps, here you can custom order charms on different colors of silk thread, and one of the options is a genie lamp, and here you can do the same thing with a chain. the links I posted were the first ones that came up, but usually the charms come in gold or sterling silver, and include either a matching chain (more expensive) or silk threads in different colors (I noticed for Sigma Kappas that the dove comes on a lavender thread). They also have bracelets in addition to the necklaces. I sound like a spokesperson, but I was really happy with the quality of my gold-dipped kite and I always get compliments on it from sisters. The charms are pretty dainty and subtle so I'll probably even wear mine as an alumna. |
