It's pretty funny, but its alot of people trying too hard/Northerners/Sig Eps/TKES/and Cali brahs.

I read it from time to time.

FYI, it's a website like FML except about how fratastic some people can get.

Prime example (yes, get over it, it's funny):

Yep. The fact the the URL used "frat" as an adjective is enough to make keep me away.

It's not a virus, it's a website which posts asshole-but-hilarious comments with TFM/TSM (total frat move/total sorority move). Example:

"Whenever a GDI talks to me, all I hear is "blah blah blah cargo shorts." TSM- smashley"

It's hilarious, though you'd probably have to be familiar with SEC Greeks to fully get it. It's my new favorite time waster.

It is to some people. Though some people that contribute might be serious (which is funny for an entirely different reason) it's mostly satire.

I'm with Drolefille. Though you said "hilarious" twice, I just see stoopid. Very, very stoopid.

Each to his own. Then again, this is in the same line as Tucker Max humor, which I also appreciate. If you don't have a sense of humor about fuckery and satire, you won't be able to get into it.

Yeah, I read one page, and it made greeks sound like losers. Umm hmmm...you're so cool and have so much money that you have to lord it over others that don't. Nice. I'm also dismayed by the number of posters using the word "sorostitute." SMH.

Actually, it's the same form of satire as Colbert, for example...exaggeration. Like I said, some contributors probably are dead serious, which is entertaining in its own right (though in a sad way), but much of it is straight up silly, on purpose.

If you were to spend time on the UA campus, for instance, you'd get it.

But as I suggested above -- whenever I hear the word "fratty" or hear "frat" used as a verb or adjective, I suspend any expectation that intelligence will follow.

It's not supposed to be intelligent, just funny.

Which just makes it very targeted humor. Stating that people would get it if they had a "sense of humor for satire" isn't the same thing.

Honestly I still probably wouldn't 'get' it (it's not that hard to 'get', it's hard to find humorous) as I wouldn't hang around with 'that crowd' anyway.

It's just really not all that serious or deep. Exaggeration is an actual method of satire. Once again, I'm sure some of these people are deadly serious, but most are not and it's a way to make fun in an entertaining manner.

My comment was not about whether it's satire or not, it was about whether it's funny to everyone or only to a particular group of people from a particular area of the country who attended particular schools.

So yes, "that crowd." I have no experience with Tucker Max so I went to his website and read the Sushi story and found it to be entirely not funny. So yes, that crowd. The ones who think "sorostitute" is funny. Or satirical.

Of course, I'm saying that it's not OK for you to find this funny. That is obviously what I said this whole time. People should only laugh at what I find funny. You're awfully defensive in your obtuseness.

Took you that long huh? Seriously, it's fine to find it funny, my response to Splash aside, I just don't. I'm not the only one who doesn't either, right? As people have pointed out it's (in part) about where you're from, not whether you like fart jokes and erudite cleverness or whether someone has a "sense of humor for satire." Enjoy it, or enjoy Dane Cook, or enjoy whatever it is you like. I don't dislike it because it's dumb, but because it's not funny to me, oh and that sororistitute thing.

Re Affliction, I had to look it up. The leather on leather ensembles and multudinous crosses are a bit much, but they had some button downs and a white long sleeved top I thought were really cute.

What?? I have several pairs of non cargo shorts that go to my knees and NO to Ed Hardy/Affliction/Tap Out douche tuxedos.

But what are they if they aren't cargo? Are they like short khakis?

Oh and the cute Affliction things were for girls not guys. I did not find anything I liked for guys.
