Which GC People Have You Met?
 

I'm sure that there's a thread on this somewhere, but it didn't appear on the many searches I tried. So...

Which GreekChat regulars or irregulars have you met? Was it a group meeting, or just an informal thing? Did he or she look like you expected?

The only 2 I've ever met were WhiteRose1912 and idkmybffOtilia and that's because they are my chapter sisters. :-)

I've met a bunch of GCers. The NPHC world is small in the DC area. And then there are conventions.

We had a GC meet-up one time, too.

I've met allionna; she's my BSP sister =) She drove up to my place for lunch one weekend and got me some gifts to welcome me to the sisterhood ♥

Only met one GC, though most of you probably know who it is lol. I have seen a couple though through the chat and I was kind of surprised how some of them look lol.

I've met HannahGirl and a few other DGs from her chapter.

HannahGirl and I met on GC and have ended up being bridesmaids for each other and life-long friends.

I met PiKA2001. Found out that an acquaintance/friend was pledging and that guy became his lil bro. Very sweet guy (;) lol)

AGDee and I have been in the same room before but didn't know who each other was. We live like 5 minutes from each other.

There was a Phi Mu I met at a conference but I can't remember her name. She doesn't post here anymore.

Since there are more than a couple GCers in the 'burgh, I've met a few: 33Girl, KillarneyRose, fire1977 (where has she gone?), new mommy kddani, wrigley, and some I've probably accidentally left out. Just two weekends ago, I met VioletPretty at my mother's estate sale, and I have to say, she is well named!

This summer I hope to meet quite a few more! :D

ETA: I've also met Kali-N-Kohl and AlphaFrog. I'm probably still forgetting someone - work with Alzheimer's clients long enough, and you become one...

WhiteDaisy has mentioned her connection with HannahGirl and I remember reading their story almost two years ago. I passed the link to the DG magazine story about them to several brothers and Sorority women that we knew, and still know.

I've met Senusret I, Buttonz, Wrigley, Scandia, and Dionysus. :)

I've met OleMissGlitter, AOIIalum, and several of the other occasional and previous AOII posters. I've also met AzTheta and AZ AlphaXi. Hopefully I'll get to meet honeychile next summer when she visits Pheonix for her convention, if my convention in Tucson doesn't overlap!

Az AlphaXi & I live a couple of miles from each other and I can thank GC for our friendship. AOIIAngel is our AZ neighbor, in a manner of speaking, & it's our turn to drive up I10 for lunch in her town. I met Blondie93 & kaokite at Theta convention. Who am I forgetting?

Plans afoot (all tentative, just nudging again) to meet honey (& I hope other ADPis) next June at ADPi convention in Phoenix. Working on getting thetygerlily down to AZ. June in Phoenix, that's very attractive I'm sure.

I've met some GC PNMs who ended up pledging wonderful chapters at the UofA.

I've met a lot of the AOII posters: AOII Angel, olemissglitter, Beryana, Morag, AOII Azra-Elle, irishpipes, and probably more that I just can't recall user names for.

I do hope to meet some of the GC Pittsburgh crew one of these days.

As mentioned above (waives upthread to AzTheta and AOIIAngel) I've met AzTheta and AOIIAngel .. I've also met tcsparky, amanda6035, BetXi, and several other Alpha Xis who use to post but have stopped.

I have met a few of you crazies in chat "face to face."

k_s works a few minutes away from where I live back in Texas and AGDee lives kind of close to me at school, but we've never met in person.

Apparently there is a GC at my new school, but we haven't met. And I have plans to meet some of the DC area GCers if I manage to make it to convention this year.

None. I almost met someone once, but very fortunately that fell through.

ThetaPrincess24 we have never met but I did notice from some previous posts and looking at your profile that we are from the same chapter at EKU although I graduated long before you were around. Also I am from the larger town just a few minutes from your hometown. Yeah Tomcats!!!! and Colonels!!!!!

There was a pnm by the GC name of red10 who posted here a few times. She was going through Alpha Xis colony recruitment with me. After bids went out, I PMed her and found out we were new sisters! We met at our first colony meeting :)

Years ago at KD Convention, I very briefly met kddani. I'm good friends with ms_gwyn, Denise_DPhiE, trojangal, and kaokite. I'd love to meet some other Chicago GCers!

FSUZeta is one of the advisors for ZTA on my campus. I'm sure I've seen her but I've never actually met her.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I really think there are a whole lot of us. What's weird to me is when you and I post about the same thing sometimes and I wonder if you were there at the same time I was, LOL.

I guess there are, I never realized it. I feel like there are a lot of Ohio, Texas, Michigan, D.C., and Arizona people here too. Or at least the people from those areas are most vocal about it, lol

I've only met Alpha Gams but I've met an awful lot of those... As PM_Mama and phsx said, we are near each other and our paths may have crossed when we didn't know it. Someday somebody will see my vanity license plate and honk and wave and I'll know it's a GCer.

ETA: I forgot to say in my earlier post that although I haven't met him, Gusteau and I strongly suspect we are distant cousins...
