From reading a lot of recent thread and posts,
a lot of you guys need some lessons in anger management! ;)

This board is intended as a forum for intelligent conversation. We have some very opinionated members on GC and discussions tend to get a bit heated at times. I don't think that means that we don't care about each other -- we just disagree from time to time. As long as the arguments are 1) about a topic that GCer's find relevant to their lives, 2) remain civil and 3) don't degenerate into mud-slinging, name-calling pointless fights between members, I don't see the problem.

However, I will remind some folks who have used some not-so-nice language in the heat of the moment lately that we do have an "edit" button for just such occasions. It might be a good idea to clean house a little. Just a suggestion from your **usually** mild-mannered moderator. :D

but seriously, i love and respect people who aren't afraid to back up their talk with evidence - who aren't afraid to have a debate without sacrificing respect for other's opinons

Hope you never find yourself in the dissenting category . . . but usually the judgemental never find themselves there, they go with the majority opinion.
