I'm trying to get over two things: the only two Pac 10 teams ranked in the Top 24 are from Oregon, and Washington (GO DAWGS) received more votes than USC or UCLA. It's the Twilight Zone.

My co-worker daughter graduated from TCU this year, now a Theta alumnae. We routed for them during the college baseball world servies.

I am so happy Boise State president Dr. Bob Kustra has taken time out of his BCS persecution fight to tell the rest of the world how he doesn't want to come to Moscow to play football, and he is happy they won't have to play us since they moved to the Mountain West. We're stoked no one from BSU wants to drive up 95 because that means more seats in the Kibbie Dome for us. THANKS BOB!!!!!

Fiance and I have Penn State tickets for Sept. 18. Can. Not. Wait. We get to cheer on PSU (my fiance is doing his PhD there, so we've become pretty big football fans) while simultaneously rooting against the rival of our Zips. Perfection.

We also have tickets for the Zips home opener vs. Syracuse this weekend. YAY!

College football is my favorite time of year. Other than March Madness. :D

I am not okay with the obvious mistake on the Capital One Bowl Mascot challenge page. Joe Vandal would never say to be bold in yellow and gold. WTF? We're Vandal Silver and Vandal Gold.
