I would say a big NO to the bottom dress for pref.

33girl 08-08-2010 06:41 PM

Yeah, NOinfinity to that checkered dress.

ETA: I think we might be getting Punk'd.

perfectinpurple 08-08-2010 06:42 PM

Please do not wear the bottom dress to pref!!!

loovegreek 08-08-2010 06:46 PM

@33girl No yall are not getting punkd..I actually own a dress similar to the bottom one.

I will not wear that particular dress, thank you for the advice :)

Not sure, but since the dress is apparently nothing like the dress pictured, it really doesn't tell us anything about it.

This dress except three different changes means, not this dress.

Well, it is obviously a child's dress. :D

Ha! That'd be a sight!

ree-Xi 08-08-2010 07:13 PM

Dang, I missed it.

No one QFP!!

FSUZeta 08-08-2010 09:13 PM

dad gum it!

AOII Angel 08-08-2010 09:16 PM

Sorry. It was a toddler's dress with harlequin style diamonds in blue and brown with a big monogram in the middle and big brown bows at the shoulders. It was basically A-line and sleeveless.

annabella 08-09-2010 12:19 AM

....so probably making fun of some of the hideous shiz posted in a few recent "are these outfits okay?" threads?

I dunno, the first dress was reasonable. If it was parody it wasn't well done, and since it was deleted it makes me think it was real.

annabella 08-09-2010 12:26 AM

Makes sense. I was just looking at the description. Tooooo much what-to-wear going on this year, I figured it was only a matter of time before someone posted something obnoxious

AOII Angel 08-09-2010 12:28 AM

Yeah, the first dress was pretty. It was just strapless red with a wide black belt and wide ruffles on the skirt, though she said her dress didn't have the ruffles. I can't imagine the other dress in person.

loovegreek 08-09-2010 08:15 AM

This is the actual dress, I couldn't find a picture at first. So I used a substitute.

I was asking a legitimate question, there is no need to be rude.

See that's the actual dress. The dress you showed us, looks nothing like that dress. Why even show us the toddler's monogrammed dress with bows?

loovegreek 08-09-2010 08:21 AM

I stated that that wasn't the actual dress and that it was minus the monogram and bows. I apologize if I wasn't clear. I just couldn't find a picture of the actual dress yesterday when I posted.

No, you were clear, you just showed us something entirely irrelevant. You really won't get real advice that way.

Also, you can stop telling us that we don't need to be rude. You got off easy.

loovegreek 08-09-2010 08:37 AM

Then I feel sorry for you, girls are coming on here asking for actual advice and you are making fun of them. Doesn't seem very helpful.

Splash 08-09-2010 08:38 AM

she didn't do anything

Just ignore it. The dress you posted looks very cute and appropriate. Get some shoes in a dark red or navy blue to add a teeny bit of color. You'll look great!

That's right. We're the meanies. Except when we give advice and tell you not to wear a toddler's dress.

Oh wait. That's what you asked for.

33girl 08-09-2010 09:17 PM

OK, THAT dress is actually really cute. The first one you posted was fugly and anyone who puts it on their kid should be reported to Child Protective Services. Other than the colors, they look nothing alike.

Really cute. Nothing like the baby dress. Still not okay for pref. Go for the red one.
