Big Brother 12

is anyone watching? they bring in a saboteur and that person is the first to leave. a big fail.

Senusret I 07-15-2010 09:36 PM

Yes, I was terribly disappointed.

BeeBee23 07-15-2010 09:45 PM

ahh! I love Big Brother! I missed part of the episode tonight though...did they say anything about making one of the other HGs the saboteur?

I feel like they have to at least add some sort of twist since Annie's gone now.

gee_ess 07-15-2010 10:14 PM

I'm watching! Brittany is a KKG from U of Arkansas, so I am rooting for her.

I was convinced Kathy was the saboteur! Wonder who it will be now?

They didn't say there would be another one. Since the whole set-up was that the saboteur had agreed beforehand that she wouldn't be competing for the big prize but would instead win money if she made it past the first five evictions, I don't know that they'd pick someone else.

I wasn't a fan of it anyway.

BeeBee23 07-16-2010 12:47 AM

I hope they add some sort of extra twist then.

Anyone have a clue who the two related HGs/friends are?

This.

sigmadiva 07-16-2010 01:27 PM

I think I like the games more than the people playing the games.

thetygerlily 07-16-2010 02:31 PM

My husband was convinced it was Kathy too. I was going back & forth between Matt and Annie... so at least one of my hunches was right!

The 2 houseguests that are friends... could be a lie, could be truth. I would HOPE that Big Brother would have more up its sleeve than just the sabatour, so maybe it's true. BB likes that kind of thing. I almost wonder if Kristin is one of 2 because we have seen almost 0 from her. Otherwise I have no explanation why "laying low" means non-existent. I mean, surely she did something worth of being on camera for more than 2 seconds!

Oh I agree! I only saw 2 weeks worth of the 2005 season, when I was on vacation... But fell in love with that show and followed it online. When I came back I was never able to get into the American version - although I'm trying to for this season.

shadokat 07-21-2010 01:32 PM

I read the other day that Annie is in sequester, so maybe she's not done yet!

Senusret I 07-21-2010 01:53 PM

Yay! I really like her.

Senusret I 07-21-2010 10:20 PM

Ugh Rachel and Brendan are KILLIN me!

gee_ess 07-21-2010 11:06 PM

Where in the heck is that Kristen girl? Why is she MIA? I don't get it!

Despite the tears and tendency to be sorority girl bitchy, I am glad my sassy KKG Brittany is still in.

Yes! Don't you imagine that the others are totally sick to death of all the lovey dovey stuff? Puleeze!

She may be bitchy, but I think she's hysterical.

I watched some of Big Brother after dark one night this week and it seemed to focus a lot on Kristin. But oddly enough, once again, there was no focus on her in a regular episode. (Very little focus on Kathy, too)

sigmadiva 08-03-2010 05:29 PM

*bump*

Anyone still watching this?

I'm happy that Andrew is gone. Bad "exit" speech!

Someone up-thread said that Brittany from Arkansas is funny as hayle, and she is!!!

Don't have a favorite right now. They all seem to have an equal chance at this point, even Enzo.

Kappamd 08-03-2010 05:35 PM

I'm still watching. And I still LOVE Brittany!

And for the love of all that is that holy, someone get rid of Rachel YESTERDAY!

sigmadiva 08-03-2010 05:43 PM

^^^ I was thinking that too, but I think Rachel is smarter than she is letting on. I can't tell if her 'show-mance' is real or not. Sometimes I think it is real, sometimes I think they are using each other.

MysticCat 08-03-2010 05:54 PM

Actually, I thought Andrew's speech was awesome. Crazy, but awesome -- way, way better than the standard "I really love all you guys, I've been true to myself and I want to stay in the game" nonsense. He knew it likely wouldn't work and it didn't, but he gave the pot a much bigger stir on his way out than "the sabateur" ever did.

It'll be interesting if he comes back in the house. I'd love to see that.

Nanners52674 08-03-2010 06:18 PM

"Nobody comes between me and my man" Rachel seems like a possible stage 5 clinger. Brittany is my favorite part of the show, he diary room commentary is hilarious.

It was a bad move, and I think he was being a sore looser when I don't think he was going to go home. He did not need to say it there at that moment. I believe that more than likely Kathy was going home, but we will never know.

Agreed. Rachel seems a bit psycho. Honestly, you're on a reality show and you've known this guy for what? Two seconds? Honey, please. He would sell you down the river for a win in two seconds.

She said that she would choose Brendon over the money

No, I think it was clear that Andrew was going anyway. If the speech swayed votes, it would have swayed Brandon and Rachel to vote for Kathy instead of sticking with the herd.

He may have started out as a pawn, with the plan that he'd get the benefit of veto and Brandon or Rachel would be put in his place. But then that didn't happen, and people started seeing reasons to vote for him. He had no alliance to speak of and didn't form close friendships with people who'd stand up for him or be sorry to see him go.

If any speech did him in, it was his veto speech, which in the eyes of the other houseguests allied with him squarely with Brandon and Rachel because they could see it was staged. Matt told him as much (after talking with other Brigaders and with Britney). Andrew was gone before they ever sat down for the voting ceremony.

DefyingGravity 08-07-2010 05:03 PM

I can't stand Brendan and Rachel together. Rachel is totally ruining Brendan's game and vice versa.

I hope that one of the episodes show his family and what they think of Rachel. LOL!

Senusret I 08-07-2010 05:10 PM

I agree with MC -- Andrew's speech was definitely the game changer.

I didn't watch most of this week. I really couldn't stomach a week of Rachel as HOH. I was annoyed to see Kristin go, but then I realized what a skank she was for HAVING A BOYFRIEND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE!!!!

My favorites to win this thing are Enzo and Lane. They are the only ones who haven't screwed up the Brigade. Not that I think the Brigade is uber cool, because it's lame. But it doesn't seem like there is any way for the Brigade to be beaten.

I wonder who won HOH and who they will put up.

gee_ess 08-10-2010 10:44 AM

I like Enzo, as well. I think the fact that when he gave the Brigade nicknames like "the Animal, and the Beast" then chose "Meow, Meow" for his name was when I decided I liked him!

gee_ess 08-11-2010 09:44 PM

OMG! I want to kill myself watching Rachel's valley girl reactions and comments. She is amazingly irritating! Puhleeze vote her off and not Brendon!

Still loving my KKG, Brittany!

LyrePantsOnFire 08-11-2010 10:34 PM

Oh my gosh! Rachel makes me rage!! She's always talking about class and integrity when she completely lacks it!

njtofla 08-12-2010 02:00 AM

I agree with pretty much everything on this thread! I LOVE Britney! Enzo is also a fav. And I hate the "saboteur" idea.

oh and so happy to see jeff and jordan back on tonights episode!

Ggirl617 08-12-2010 10:38 AM

FINALLY Rachel and Brendan are both on the block together and neither were vetoed!

AND I really like Britney. I think she's hilarious. Enzo is funny too and I have a soft spot for Kathy :)

gee_ess 08-12-2010 12:41 PM

^^ I think Rachel would be annoying no matter what. Brendan seems okay and will probably last a little longer if he doesn't get voted off tonight. I don't think they dislike him as much as they do Rachel. They are sick of her!

My faves from last night-
When Brittney was in the diary room and made the comment about how competitive the POV was compared to her 5th grade basketball days! Funny!

When Lane kept saying how shocked he was that Brendan and Rachel were acting out reverse gender roles during the POV competition. (Brendan is SO needy in a crisis and hasn't managed to be her "knight" one time.)

The way Kathy maintained class and dignity when Rachel was so ridiculous about demanding an apology.

Hands down, one of my favorite episodes of Big Brother to date!

Senusret I 08-12-2010 12:44 PM

Rachel to me is so obviously attempting to be a serial reality star. It's like she's not even in it for the money, but for the "fame." Anybody else notice that?

Oh my gosh, yes. She's so obviously just trying to become famous, it's ridiculous.

I really love Brittany and her funny remarks. I'm rooting for the Brigade!

agzg 08-12-2010 04:00 PM

Rachel needs to go. I hope Brenden gets to stay because I'd like to see if he really is as worthless or if he's just that way because of Rachel. He can get voted out next week.

Brittany was aggravating to me when Monet was in the house, but I find her absolutely hilarious now that Monet is gone.

I'm just so glad that if Rachel's voted out, it'll be the last of the "my man" stuff until she comes back in the end.

APhiQuetieACE 08-12-2010 06:08 PM

The Brigade is SO LAME! Lane and Enzo are weak/floaters

Brittany annoys me. Kathy and Ragan...*blah*

Brendon and Rachel actually make the show interesting...though they are a little annoying...mainly last night.

Rachel is the stronger of the two and she leaves, then Brendon will surely follow if he doesnt win HOH

CBS NEEDS to put Senusret I and me on there! We'd dominate.

Kappamd 08-12-2010 06:57 PM

Still lovin' my KKG Britney =)

I'm watching last night's episode on DVR right now and want to vomit. Rachel is, BY FAR, my least favorite houseguest in the history of this show. She is AWFUL and needs to go ASAP. I have a feeling Brendan would be infinitely less of an ass if that bitch wasn't all up in his game.

LOVE Jeff and Jordyn. I'm so happy to see they're still together.

Senusret I 08-12-2010 08:19 PM

PLEASE don't fall for the ruse... SEND RACHEL HOME!
