ITT we keep track of the trolls
 

Alright so here, we're going to keep track of our ongoing trolls, add new ones to the thread as they appear and i'll try to keep the names combined together in this post based on our best guesses. (or if mods want to verify anything that's cool too.)

I don't intend to out beloved socks like Sheetcake, but my only question is should we out known GCers who troll (once or multiple times?)

• Phimu_burberry: (perp) aka flowerpower83 aka violetcardinal aka bulldog10. Psycho. Starts normal then flips out totally all us mean girls who aren't good enough to be her. Recently reappeared as a phi mu hater and defender all in one. Has an obsession with phi mu and will call you a dyke for disagreeing with her. Class act.
  
• GatorKate: aka PuppyLuv Got story messed up and cross-posted on both alts. Felt "required" to do so.
  
• Earp: aka rick corn aka Callilicious (perp) - tends to turn statements into questions, question your motives among many other things. Apparently banned from his own happier friendlier forum. *rumor and verified only by a sock*
  
• I<3myself: aka Splash* aka speechless10, poor writing, poor train of thought, harassed the chatroom. *contested by the poster.
  
• volleyball29: aka mustang_girl aka miss_etiquette PNM princess whose family founded whatever GLO she's PROMISED a bid in. Likes to tell us how we're wrong about GLO policies, tell us to be nice. Possibly related to phimu_burberry
  
• ktbug10474: serial rusher/perp could be related to other serial perp/rusher trolls.
  
• GAGalBamaBound: aka bomchickawawa - serial school changer/rusher, asks for recs with different stories, perped before flouncing
  
• madmax: multiple alts, repeat ban breaker, starts off posting only slightly classist and racist remarks before dropping N-bombs all over the place and blaming minorities for everything but his apparently very small manhood.
  
• Xanthus: multiple alts, repeat ban breaker, always asks women about their relationship problems. Creepy but ok til he drops the C-word on you.
  
• southerngreek12: aka ao_cutie_pi5 aka atoheadlines, gender bender, glo hopper, multiple alts, likes to pretend to be female and give really bad advice.
• xfrodobagginsx: oddly named troll who wants you to be "saved" Never mind that some of us unwashed heathens might take offense to it, it's his DUTY to try. Not a particularly good at his job. Recently started posting insane right wing rantings.
• KDLady00 aka BrandiRae or well multiple aliases, old school trolls, perp, claimed to be a KD, was big into pageants, apparently more than slightly off kilter, it's entirely possible that she actually believed her stories, or believed that we would believe her. Posted ritual info and attempted to blackmail GC KDs with threats of posting copies of the ritual on the internet. Not particularly creative. Summed up nicely here.

• eaglesbaby, inactive, how many recruitment stories can one person make up? Well they can try for 3 at once but they're not very good at it.

Yep. It's usually me and AlwaysSAI in D&R that he/she seems to target. Mainly me. I mean, it's more than obvious that Xanthus is a regular GCer on here who has it in for me for whatever reason. Probably someone who never chats with me unless they have something rude or snarky to say to me. But--whatever. I'm just going to keep to myself like I said I was going to do and chat with the members that I like. Oh, and I'm locking my inbox so she (yes, I think Xanthus/Brandon or whatever is a she) can no longer send me anymore perverted pms. I should have done that a long time ago.

This thread is doing the absolute most. It just might be doing it all.

Unless you have a reason for thinking that (like reveaing info he couldn't know), I think you're wrong. I think you just give him the reaction he wants. He hits up whoever's been posting frequently.

southerngreek12 was definitely a guy. He didn't go away until I told him I'd call his chapter president (I specifically used the guys name) and tell him everything he said about his current chapter and his desire to go to Ole Miss and be an ATO. He gave out way too much info about himself in his first incarnation to then go around harassing people.

Yeah I've had several independent confirmations of this, and though they were socked, I believe them. (I know this boils down to, people told me in PMs, but I'm not going to out people and get them harassed on any community. Although I'm still amused at the idea that it's less safe here than 'elsewhere' or something.)

Can you PM me the scoop? I can understand if you don't want to, but I'm dying of curiousity!

I agree! The sockpuppet has to be a classic, loved figure such as Sheetcake or Chuck Norris.

Those that use sockpuppets for the purpose of stating opinions that they seem to be "scared" to post under their main name should be outed!

No real scoop, just that he's banned. My guess is that he posted one too many racist or sexist email forwards or tried to tell one too many sorority women how to act. You know, the same stuff he pulled here. No idea if he socks there (or tries to) like he does here. Senders were socked.

If people want info or troll IDs etc. passed on anonymously, send me a PM. If you don't trust me to keep my mouth shut about who sent it, well then don't send me a PM :p

Here's what I'm leaning towards as far as socks (and obviously i'm not queen of GC, someone else can make their own thread), but the purpose of the thread is mostly to keep track of the trolls because they're repeat offenders.

I think if it's a troll - created to yell at us for being meanie pants, harassing people, etc. - then we'd want to post it here.

If it's a sock, obvious or not, who doesn't troll - that is, might be snarky but his or her reason for being isn't to violate the TOS or dodge a ban - leave it alone. Some people's socks are essentially name changes anyway.

Just my 2 cents.
