I know everyone is going to say that "I couldn't see myself in any other house than what I am in now" HOWEVER, just for fun, and PLEASE be honest, if you had your first choice of a sorority/fraternity to be in, OTHER than the one you are in, what would it be?

I will admit that if I had my number one choice it would be KKG. But, funny that about 2 years after I pledged, KKG lost their charter so it worked out.

I don't think there is anything wrong with admitting you had a number one choice when you were rushing but perhaps pledged someplace else.

I guess looking at my rush process, I'd have been in ATO, but haveing been on campus now I realized how haphazardly I picked houses to tour, so I might say SAE even though I never even looked at them during rush. As much as I love Beta I do wish I had toured more houses.

I would have to say ZTA or KD. I liked both houses on my campus, and they are both very strong nationally.

If I wasn't a Phi Psi pledge I would probably be a SAE pledge because they are the most preppy house here, and I am kinda preppy. Otherwise I don't think I would be in a Fraternity. Phi Psi Rocks!!!

Thank God for Sigma Chi, because if I hadn't come through here, I would have gone through the shitty Phi Tau chapter here, and I'm 98% sure I would have dropped and carried a negative view of Greek Life.

Well I didn't go through formal rush but if I had I would have wanted KKG or XO. Every girl I have met from those two houses is really awesome. I think I could definitely have fit in. But hey...I'm more than happy where I am.

If I hadn't gone Chi O, I would probably have been a KD. I loved KD and XO going through rush, and both had awesome girls!

I would be a DG or Tri-delt, i preffed them both and have tons of friends in both, so I know i love the girls!

Some of my sisters have said they saw me as an ADPi when I was going through recruitment, so I guess that's what I would have been. :)

If I wasn't an AZD i would probably like to have been a TriSigma or an AOTT. They both have strong chapters on my campus and I have good friends in both. The other two sororities on my campus I would not have joined would be for reasons that they are simply not nice people!

If I had known now, what I didn't know during rush, I would have probaley been an AZD. I had a bad first impression of AZD and it stuck with my during rush. But when I graduated from school, some of my very best friends were AZD's and I thought there chapter was just awesome. I am very glad to be an AOTT, but I love my AZD girls too!

If I hadn't gone Chi Omega, I probably would have gone DG. They were my 2nd choice, and I really liked the girls in the chapter. Every other DG I've met since then has been so awesome!

Well ya'll, if I wern't a Beta at UW O, I wouldn't have joined any other fraternity, because in my opinion, they all suck. What I would have done, was founded a Sigma Chi or Phi Delta Theta chapter. Keepin it real the Miami Triad way, baby.

I preffed ADPi so I'd probably would've been an ADPi. But, my chapter is a lot like KD on my campus and we get along really well so my 2nd choice is KD.

AXO for me--I had a really hard time deciding between the two because they were so similar.

When I went through rush, there were only four Panhellenic sororities on campus. There are a ton of locals, and I considered joinging one because a lot of my friends were in it, but they were all pretty much asian groups. I am asian, but I've always hung out in pretty diverse crowds, so I wanted to be a part of a diverse group of women.

I am so happy to be an Alpha Phi, but all my sisters told me they thought I was going AGD all the way. They were really happy and surprised when I showed up on Bid Day. So, I guess if I had to choose another house to be in at SFSU, it would have been Alpha Gamma Delta.

Greeklawgirl- too bad you weren't still active when I rushed.. you could have made an impact on my decision... ;)

After preference parties, I put Delta Zeta first and Chi Omega as my second choice. I loved my DZ sisters, but the Chi-O's were really cool as well. If DZ didn't exist, I could have definitely seen myself at Chi Omega. (BTW, that opinion is reinforced by all the awesome Chi-Os who post on here!)

When I took my open bid to KD (1st semester, I was a transfer), so many people I didn't know came up to me and said "I thought you would have went ZTA." I guess on the basis that I was a cute and liked to have a good time. None of the ZTAs tried to get to know me until way later in the semester. I liked a lot of the women that pledged there later too.

I would say I would have been an Alpha Xi. Most of my close friends from freshman year pledged there. Plus, they have really high scholarship, which I dig. Also, the AZDs have soooo much spirit! Being a cheerleader, I get all into that!

However, "Happy are we that we are KD!" Now I can see that KD was the best house for me, and I couldn't imagine being any place else!

If I hadn't of waited, but stayed in when I did formal rush my first time, I definately wanted Alpha Phi. I knew a lot of the girls in the house, plus alot of girls I found out were from my hometown. Weeks after rush was over I kick myself in the a$$ for dropping out. Tri-Delt was also really cool dispite all the rumors I had heard.
One that wasnt on campus that I would have liked to have been was a KD. Ive heard nothing but good things about them.

However, I am happy AGD and dont regret it. :)

There should be Triad t-shirts or something.

I know it was mentioned in the other thread, but gosh, it really is funny how almost all the Alpha Phis would have gone Alpha Gam and vice versa. What a lovely mutual admiration society we share.

if i hadn't gone alpha gamma delta, i prolly would have gone (no joke - gotta love the triad) alpha phi (great group of girls at my last school) or pi beta phi. but i gotta love my AGD.

If I wasn't a D Phi E, I'd have been a Tri Sigma. They have a beautiful house and a great sisterhood. They were my second choice on pref night. :)

I was a rho chi in college and it was tradition to have the rushees fill out index cards with a guess as to what sororities their rho chis were in. Most of my rushees guessed either ADPi or Tri-Delt, and only one guessed DG! ADPi was a good guess b/c it's very similar to DG on my campus... but if I would have had to choose to go any other sorority, it would've been Theta :)

There were only three sororities at my school, so if I hadn't gone Kappa, I would have been a Theta.

Going into rush, I knew nothing about sororities. By the end of the third day, I knew there was only one sorority for me. It was Kappa Delta or nothing. I got my wish, and couldn't be happier!

If I wasn't a ZTA :D, I would want to be a Delta Gamma like my mother. (They aren't on campus at ODU.) But it wasn't to be...;) I am exactly where I want to be and wouldn't change a thing!!!!!

If I wasn't an Alpha Gam I would want to be an AXO. As my posting said (see Alpha Gam Roll call...) one of my good friends there was really pulling for me and prior to rush I met soo many incredible AXOs. But I think things DO work out for the best and AGD has let me become and awesome leader and i love what being part of it has done to me.

If I wasn't in DG I would have been a Theta only because I recieved a bid from them as well as DG so that is where would have gone

If I wasn't an Alpha Theta Chi I would probably be a Theta Phi Alpha. Those girls sure did know how to have a good time!! Too bad they aren't on campus anymore :(

If not Tri Sigma all the way, I would have loved to become a ZTA. I just love them so much!!
