Ok need to vent. Rangers suck, suck like there is no tommorow. First we give up three good prospect for Erica and we still keep these players who should have retired years ago. A friend of mine e-mailed a group of us who is available in term of prospect since we'll probably get a good draft pick, again. I replied, why bother, just look for a has been superstar who is one his way out, we'll probably trade the future Gretzky for him.

As much pissing and whining as I did when the Rangers signed Lindros, I must say, we're doing better than I thought we would be!! As for the Devils, F the DEVILS!!

Although I believe that the Rangers should suck (its a philly thing, sorry!) the Flyers aren't much better this year. They just can't seem to get their butts in gear!

Sorry to hear bout your team. I still say that it was a no goal. Still remember that day, we were at our porch and had four different tv outside and the whole block was watching the game with us. It was nice. Anyway, I miss garbage plates.

The prospects won't start out good right away. Give it a few years.....

I wouldn't worry about it - when the Whalers were still in Hartford (I'm originally from CT), I was a Whalers fan and went to some games - now, with them being possibly the worst team in the history of pro sports (anyone who knows hockey knows that this is NOT an exaggeration), I think everyone else can realize that things aren't really so bad with their teams.

Two of the three prospects havent done squat? Pavel Brendl only has one goal and that was a gift from the red line.

I always found it funny how Canucks rhyme with suck - but not anymore!!! I don't what Trevor Linden has done but since he has returned the Nucks are on fire - and I hope it stays that way because we have some catching up to do

btw, arya don't ever disagree with the canadian kid who's played it since he was 9 - sounds like a warren zephon original - i told you lindros would pan out, he's a great player....but you might as well stop the band-wagon jumping and cheer for a team with heart...

Anyways, back to the topic at hand...ksid, you remind me of an old bf of my sister's that only cheered for teams that no one else cheered for...he loved the whalers...

teams go in and out of cycles, ottawa was horrendous the first 3 years of it's existence, when good ol' daigle was scoring 55 goals on a garbage team. But now the team has done much better and has a bright future - assuming something gets done to help the smaller-market teams come 2004.

The only teams that in my opinion really suck are the joke franchises brought in by that idiot bettman. Hockey should contract the whole southeast, along with Anaheim.

Well, my hockey team (Red Wings) doesn't suck but we are the only city that can say our football team is 0-9!:p Gotta love the Lions.

Quick trivia question for Siobhan or brook...what do you get when a so-so team with a 3 game win streak plays one that hasn't lost in 10?....a loss....hahahah j/k

It is really nice to see some of the Canadian teams doing so well this year.

I was born and raised in Michigan,so I still root for the Micigan teams. Maybe the Lions will get their 1st win tommorrow. If not,well, you can always root for the Pistons :)

Ah, that Ottawa game was minor set back, heck we beat the Penguins last night 4-1.

The real test comes tonight for ottawa vs calgary...top two can. teams duking it out.

Me impress with Rangers. They no suck anymore. MESSier need to retire still. But me happy, though sports in NY suck beside Rangers. Knicks sucks and Giants suck. Fishsticks (Islanders) and Jets no need to discuss.

I have never ever fallen off the bandwagon :p, I have been a hard core canucks fan for over a decade now. It just gets a little dreary watching your fave team loose all the time - I was refering to the tables turning for Vancouver, I know that Ottawa has been stable this whole season - hey what happened to the Flames??!!

As much as I love to see the Leafs loose - I'm a bit concerned - They let 6 goals in from us the other night, and CuJo is our Olympic goalie - this does not bode well...

...flames are garbage, who cares.

Legitimate concern, all 3 olympic goalies are playing like #*(&%
18 of the starting goalies in the league are can., i'm thinking there's some obvious better choices to be had for mining the pipes.
