It's that time again ladies! Convention is upon us again. This year, it will be held in Orlando, Florida!

Anyone going?

I want to go so bad so I'm trying to get creative with my budget. :D

I was saving up my money and was so excited to go, but I'm not goig now. Maybe in another two years.

Pardon the crash but I just saw this when I logged in. Tri Delta AND Chi Omega are also both having their convention in Orlando this year. The day Tri Delta's starts is the day Chi Omega begins.

I am going since it is back in my neighborhood. I've been flying around the country for the last 10 years so it's nice to know it will only cost me a tank of gas this year! Looking forward to seeing the SKs make a little magic of their own. For all the rest of you from the far flung areas just keep up with Southwest airlines, they will offer great sales to Orlando. Sign up for their email alerts to get the scoop. I've used them alot these past 10 years as I've travelled around the country for SK events as well as other travels. Just remember Orlando will be hot and humid in July so dress accordingly, even we native Floridians know when to stay inside with the AC on high! lol

I remember that. Thank goodness for the AC in our room. I really hope I get to go this year. It would be great to see you again. :)

I just bought my flight, now I need to register. I can't decide whether to go on the Disney World outing. I haven't been since I was 4, but I don't think I actually want to set foot outside in Orlando in July. Plus, it might be a nice time to relax.

Just registered. I decided against the Disney trip.

I opted out of the Disney trip too since my parents live so close I want to see them while I'm there. :)

I'm still active at my school, so unfortunately I have to put the money towards classes :(

Do you live near Orlando? You could just go for the Achievement Banquet! That's what I did when it was in DC!

I attend UF and live about 2 hours from Orlando, but it all depends on if I can land a summer job in this economy

I registered & booked a flight last night. Woohoo! Talk about waiting til the last minute. LOL! I can't wait to see you ladies again. Woohoo!

I also opted out of the Disney trip. I don't want to traipse through the Magic Kingdom in July. Instead, I choose to relax poolside, have a nice dinner & hang out with any ladies who want to hang out with me. :)

Chi Omega is at at the Grande Lakes Resort (J.W. Marriott & Ritz Carlton) June 26-30!

Yet again, I am staying home... Dance competition season is expensive, so my money's going there this time around. Have fun everyone!!

The countdown has begun! I'm so excited & can't wait!

What's funny is that my friends & I have already started talking about where our next Convention is going to be. LOL!

I saw that they are releasing a special Convention pin. It's only $10. I'm definitely going to buy it. I have a $300 allowance for SK related stuff I might want to buy. :)

I'm back! Convention was so much fun but very busy. :D I loved every minute of it.

For those who might not be aware, Convention 2012 will be July 12-15 in Houston, Texas. I definitely plan on being there as I will be a Confirmed Conventionite. Woohoo!

We had a great time & it was fun to hang out together again like we did last time. Can't wait for 2010 since _Lisa_, violetpretty, & I will be Confirmed Conventiones together in Houston, Texas. :D
