Please, for the love of God, don't come on GC with this kind of question sporting a name like that! That is so disrespectful to Theta Phi to blast your dirty laundry publicly. You've gotten your answer, now go away.

No, there isn't, but you could always work on why it is you feel unwelcome and try to fix that. There are several threads here on GC that discuss issues such as yours and talk about ways to work on building better relationships with your sisters.

Ever notice these postings happen late at night/in the early hours of the morning?

I always wonder if the OP had been drinking, or had a super awful long day, or what. Then again, most of the posts are followed up with just-as-f'd-up crap, so I take that back.

The middle of the night is the wrong time to be contemplating major decisions, let alone airing your dirty laundry or indiscretion.

Just because I am in a good mood, I will offer some advice to the OP:

- get involved - go to everything your chapter does or sponsors
- start conversations - ask other people about themselves
- make plans to do every day things - go to the library or eat lunch with other sisters
- stop worrying what other people think about you (because most of the time, what we think people are saying or thinking about us just isn't happening. Honestly, most of the time, people are too worried about themselves.)
- and probably the best advice I think that I have ever given here - stop thinking in terms of "ME" and start thinking in terms of "WE"

Theta Phi Saggy Butt, all I can say is everyone has feelings like that at some time. It's perfectly normal. Do the things ree-xi recommended and hang in there - the girl who's going to be your best friend in the world could come in with the next pledge class. You won't know if you don't stick around.

Friendship and sisterhood are a two-way street. Make sure you're doing all YOU can before you start blaming others for the way you feel :)

Maybe YOUR'E not being very welcoming....Soooo if you want any chance at being in a sorority/sisterhood, I suggest you try a little harder because its Theta Phi or nothin.

i didn't "blast" dirt laundry... its people like YOU why i want to quit... and i AM involved and i do talk .. i not the quiet type. and no it WASNT a drunken mistake.. and i did love my sorority until i saw peoples true colors... and it was a heart.,, not a saggy butt.. good lord, :mad:

You most certainly did blast your dirty laundry. There was no need to identify your sorority to ask your question. If people like ME make you want to quit, then you are in a sorority for the wrong reason since all I'm asking you to do is show the sorority you supposedly love a little respect and not embarrass it on a national website.

As for the saggy butt, drunken mistake, etc., those were comments made by other posters, so try to put the blame on them and not me. Thank you.
